Bernie Called Trump ‘Most Racist President In History’ But He Forgot About These 3 Guys

Published

on

Bernie Sanders is a socialist who knows very little about actual history. At a rally this week he called President Trump “the most racist, sexist, homophobic, bigoted president in history.” But if he had ever bothered to open a history book he would have seen that is not even close to being true. But then again, the truth has nothing to do with this.

Socialists like Sanders are in a panic as support for President Trump from black and Hispanic voters has surged in recent months. Therefore, they are ratcheting up the mantra that Trump is incredibly racist. Tell a lie long enough and they hope it will stick. Too bad for them that’s not the case this time. And considering the racist history of the Democratic Party, Sanders proclamation is even more hypocritical. The Daily Wire teaches a valuable history lesson here:

At a campaign rally on Tuesday, socialist Senator Bernie Sanders called President Trump “the most racist, sexist, homophobic, bigoted president in history.” Racial minorities seem not to have gotten the memo, as support for Trump among black and Hispanic voters has surged in recent months and the Jewish State names a train station after Trump in Jerusalem. Likewise Trump’s alleged sexism must come as a surprise to the historically large number of women he has appointed to senior administration roles, as well as to the gay voters who watched him wave a rainbow flag on stage before acknowledging the “our LGBTQ community” at his party’s national convention — a first for a Republican presidential nominee.

The racism charge is rich coming from Sanders, whose sometime political party waged the bloodiest war in American history to preserve slavery, founded the Ku Klux Klan, instituted Jim Crow laws, opposed civil rights legislation for a century, and destroyed the black family. Socialists like Sanders don’t know much about history, so in the spirit of education, let’s examine some truly racist presidents.

In 1913, Democrat president Woodrow Wilson re-segregated the federal government, replaced 88% of black federal service supervisors with whites, and by 1914 began requiring photographs from government job applicants. Wilson’s racial bigotry stands out even by the standards of his age, and his Republican predecessors Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft made a determined effort to appoint black Americans to public office. By contrast, Wilson defended the Ku Klux Klan in passages that later appeared in D.W. Griffith’s infamous film The Birth of a Nation, which Wilson screened at the White House.

After the 1936 Berlin Olympics, Democrat president Franklin Roosevelt snubbed black, four-time gold medal winner Jesse Owens from a reception honoring exclusively white American competitors. Owens might have counted himself lucky, however, comparing his treatment with that of other racial minorities during Roosevelt’s reign. In 1942, Roosevelt arrested and interned more than 100,000 Japanese Americans, while curiously sparing Americans of German and Italian descent, by executive order.

Lyndon Johnson has the laudable distinction of becoming the only Democrat president in history to sign a Civil Rights Act, albeit a century after Republicans passed the Civil Rights Act of 1866 over Democrat president Andrew Johnson’s veto. (Republican presidents would go on to enact additional Civil Rights Acts in 1871, 1875, 1957, 1960, and 1991.) Nevertheless, Johnson remained virulently racist in his personal conduct, referring to Asians as “hordes of barbaric yellow dwarves,” according to biographer Robert Caro, and driving trunk-loads of snakes to gas stations to scare black attendants. Johnson’s chauffeur Robert Parker recalled that Johnson once asked him if he would prefer to be called by his name rather than by various, demeaning nicknames. He said yes, and in Parker’s telling Johnson responded, “No one’s gonna call you by your goddamn name. So no matter what you are called, nigger, you just let it roll off your back like water. … Just pretend you’re a goddamn piece of furniture.”

Bernie Sanders’ historical ignorance comes as no surprise; even the left-wing Washington Post editorial board has acknowledged Sanders’ “shocking ignorance.” Unfortunately for the future of our democratic republic, such ignorance appears to be widespread and worsening among the voting public.

Holy CRAP.

This is some PEAK Trump Derangement Syndrome, folks.

I mean… what planet do these nutjobs even LIVE ON?!

Actress Amber Tamblyn of “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” recently revealed that on the night Hillary lost, she went into a panic attack imagining she would have to give her unborn child up for adoption to Canadians or some ridiculous crap.

I’m not even exaggerating here.

As the night wore on and it became clear that Clinton was facing a steep challenge to the presidency, “I swigged some more Zantac, and my baby shoved her foot into my ribs, as if to foreshadow the pain that was yet to come,” Tamblyn read. Her line “Katy Perry anxiously chewed on a celery stick” drew some laughs. When Clinton’s director of strategic communications informed Javits Center attendees that Clinton would not be speaking, Tamblyn came to a grim conclusion: “A dark realization swallowed me: I was going to bring a baby into this world. And not just any baby: a girl.” Tamblyn recalled imagining if she should give her baby away to Canadians or Swedes.

I’m sorry… but if things REALLY were so bad, wouldn’t you go away WITH your baby? You’d really just hand your baby over to someone?

This is so freaking INSAAANE.

I mean – WTF?! Did any of you ever consider giving up your children because of Obama? No? Yeah. Didn’t think so.

The Hollywood Reporter has more on this story:

Tamblyn, the final reader of the afternoon, shared an essay about the 2016 Election Night from her upcoming release Era of Ignition. The essay recalled 2016’s presidential election night, which Tamblyn spent with Ferrera and comedian Amy Schumer in New York’s Javits Center while several months pregnant. She and her friends wore matching white pantsuits to signal their support of Clinton, “looking like the cast of some new primetime medical drama,” Tamblyn joked.

At a subway station the following day, Tamblyn read, she began experiencing pain and shortness of breath, which caused her collapse on the stairs. She recalled a “homeless man” saying, “Oh shit, it’s going down!” and offering to cut her umbilical cord with beard scissors if she went into labor. Ultimately, Tamblyn learned she was just having a panic attack.

“’How can I keep her safe?’” Tamblyn recalled asking her doctor on a visit about the attack.

“You can’t, but you can keep her close,” her doctor responded, before suggesting that she listen to a one-minute recording every day to remind her of the tenacity of love. Tamblyn ended her set by playing the recording for the audience: a one-minute record of her baby’s heartbeat.

The 2018 Vulture Fest in Los Angeles, which this year features speakers including the Dirty John cast, Constance Wu, Nick Kroll, Fred Armisen and others, concluded Sunday.

Trump On Brink Of Forcing Migrants To Undergo MAJOR New Screening – Dems WON’T Be Happy!

As the most reliable and balanced news aggregation service in the world, RWN offers the following information published by: Reuters

President Donald Trump’s administration is considering giving U.S. troops on the border with Mexico the authority to carry out medical screening of migrants, U.S. officials told Reuters on Tuesday.

The proposal, which is still in draft form and is circulating within the administration, would involve the military in screenings for things like illness and injury only if U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency personnel were overwhelmed and unable to do so on their own, the officials said.

The proposal would expand the mission for the Pentagon, which said previously it did not expect its forces to directly interact with migrants.

The Pentagon declined to comment.

U.S. military duties on the border, including stringing up concertina wire and building temporary housing, have been aimed at supporting CBP personnel.

The U.S. officials who spoke to Reuters about the proposal did so on condition of anonymity because Trump has not yet signed off on the idea.

It was unclear if the proposal, if confirmed in the coming days, might prolong the deployment of at least some troops at the border.

The commander of the mission told Reuters last week that the number of troops may have peaked at around 5,800, and he would soon look at whether to begin sending forces home or shifting some to new border positions. [nL2N1XQ0XV]
