Dems Just Hit With Their Worst Nightmare After Attack On Kavanaugh Goes Horribly Wrong

Published

on

The Democrats’ plan to stick it to President Trump and stop the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court is backfiring big time on them. The polls have suddenly turned against them and Americans, in general, have had it with this nonsense. It’s the left’s worst nightmare come true and I’m feeling fine over it.

A new look at the Fox News battleground polls that were released yesterday suggests the 2018 midterms might be trending in the Republican’s favor at least in the Senate, where the 35 seats up for election largely are in GOP-leaning states. The left’s attack has gone horribly wrong for them.

There is a noticeable uptick in Republican enthusiasm across the board in the past several weeks that tracks with the increasingly heated confrontation between both parties over Kavanaugh’s confirmation and the sexual misconduct allegations leveled against him.

The Senate is viewing the supplemental background investigation on those claims today. While Democrats have complained about that process, sources say the review did not corroborate the allegations; a confirmation vote is expected as early as this weekend. Kavanaugh will almost certainly be confirmed.

The Democrats have no one to blame but themselves if this destroys them in the midterms. If you play sleazy, dirty politics, expect a blowback and sometimes, you get nuked for it. What the Democrats forgot is that Republicans know that the left hates them more than they do Trump. And in an unexpected consequence of the attack on Kavanaugh, the left accidentally united the right once again.

We know that deep down, the hatred from the left isn’t just about Trump. It’s about a raw, vicious desire for power at any cost. And proving that hell has probably frozen over solid, the Wall Street Journal is now writing: “We’re All Deplorables Now.”

From the Wall Street Journal:

“Judge Kavanaugh would have been on any Republican’s short list for the Supreme Court. …

“Mr. Trump’s nomination of Mr. Kavanaugh is a credit to the process he established to win the election and govern with conservative support. He sought the help of legal elites on the right, led by the Federalist Society, who compiled an impressive list of potential nominees. This isn’t a rogue judicial operation to choose presidential cronies. It is the gold standard for legal talent that believes in the original meaning of the Constitution. It’s hard to see how any GOP President would have done better, and others have done much worse.

“Yet this is precisely why Democrats and the left have set out to destroy Judge Kavanaugh—not in legal philosophy or competence, which they knew was a political loser, but as a human being, a spouse and father. They need to destroy him personally with accusations but no corroboration, as they tried with Clarence Thomas, so they can deny the open Supreme Court seat to a judicial conservative.

“Republicans are well aware of Mr. Trump’s excesses and falsehoods. But they have also come to understand that the resistance to him isn’t rooted in principle or some august call to superior character. They know Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton in 2016 despite her history of deceit. Voters know this is about the left’s will to power by any means necessary.

“Republicans across America can see, and certainly their Senators voting on Judge Kavanaugh should realize, that the left hates them as much or more than they loathe Mr. Trump. Conservatives understand that, for the American left, they are all deplorables now.”

More from the Wall Street Journal:

“The GOP could strengthen its hand further—especially with independents—by keeping the focus on how Democrats created this mess. Sixty-nine percent of all voters—not just Republicans—believe “the Senate confirmation hearings . . . have been a national disgrace.” Seventy-five percent of voters agree Sen. Dianne Feinstein should “have immediately turned over the letter from Christine Blasey Ford” rather than sit on it for six weeks until it was leaked in the media. Note to California Republicans left without a Senate candidate by the state’s open primary: Vote for Mrs. Feinstein’s Democratic opponent, Kevin de Leon. The better his showing in California’s red precincts, the bigger the rebuke to Mrs. Feinstein.

“How will this ugly confirmation fight affect the midterms? In crucial Senate races in red states like Indiana, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Tennessee and West Virginia, it will hurt Democrats. There are simply a lot more Republicans than Democrats in these states, and Republicans support Judge Kavanaugh. That’s why North Dakota’s Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, West Virginia’s Sen. Joe Manchin, and Tennessee hopeful Phil Bredesen, all Democrats, have yet to join their party’s mob trying to destroy the nominee.

“Two other red-state Democratic senators, Missouri’s Claire McCaskill, and Montana’s Jon Tester oppose the judge but offered reasons other than Ms. Ford’s accusations. Indiana’s Joe Donnelly may find himself in a pickle. He came out against Judge Kavanaugh over Ms. Ford’s claim and said it “should be investigated by the FBI.” But if the FBI cannot corroborate the accusations, Mr. Donnelly can be hammered for rushing to judgment on Mr. Kavanaugh without waiting for the evidence he asked for.

“In purple states such as Arizona, Florida, and Nevada, this issue will cut more evenly between the parties. GOP candidates there must emphasize that the hearings were a mess that could have been avoided if Mrs. Feinstein turned over Ms. Ford’s letter promptly. That way her privacy could have been protected and the charges examined in the FBI’s normal process.”

Remember when Hillary Clinton infamously referred to Trump supporters as a “basket of deplorables” during the 2016 election? I think we all pretty much do. It looks like the left has done what Republicans could not do for themselves after the rift over President Trump… they have unified the party once more. We should thank them for their mud raking, sleazy, dirty, unfounded attacks on Kavanaugh. It finally woke the Republicans up.

I heard Nancy Pelosi this morning comparing Kavanaugh to Putin and Kim Jong-Un. This sickness is endemic with the Democrats. And it will destroy them. Such vitriol and sheer hatred almost always wind up destroying the host eventually. And the Dems have earned every bit of it and more.

President Trump Announced How He Just Got Mexico To Pay For The Wall

When President Trump said he would have Mexico pay for the wall on our southern border, he meant it. He just announced how they are going to do it too… through the USMCA (the revision of NAFTA). Which I suspect was the plan all along.

Very early this morning at about 4:38 am, Trump tweeted: “I often stated, “One way or the other, Mexico is going to pay for the Wall.” This has never changed. Our new deal with Mexico (and Canada), the USMCA, is so much better than the old, very costly & anti-USA NAFTA deal, that just by the money we save, MEXICO IS PAYING FOR THE WALL!”

For those doubters on Twitter (and you will see some of them below), I highly doubt the plan was ever to have Mexico pay for the wall up front. We would fund the wall and recoup the funding from Mexico. I don’t see what is so hard to understand about that. But it seems to be a financial move many can’t seem to grasp and that is beyond their comprehension.

SIGN PETITION DEMANDING TRUMP BUILD THE WALL 75,000 HAVE SIGNED

I fully support that if Congress just won’t fund the wall, having the military build it through Pentagon funding and then reimbursing them for it. Why? Because it is a national security issue and always has been. That border is a clear and present danger.

Why shouldn’t Trump have Mexico pay through the USMCA? And why all the negativity from people who are obviously poorly informed and just politically biased? They let their hate for the president dictate all their thoughts and actions rather than looking at the mechanics of the move and the benefits from it. I just don’t get these people. They have not even given this a chance and already they are shooting it down. That’s a leftist for you.

Check out the moves on Twitter over this:

Most of these people don’t seem to get that a great deal of the funding for the wall was approved before Trump started all of this. I have never seen so many people so intent on leaving themselves open to attack. What a bunch of foolish, self-involved individuals. Just sad. Build the wall whatever it takes and do it fast before one of our many enemies gets a chance to severely cripple this nation once again.

Three Clinton Foundation Whistleblowers Will Testify This Coming Week, “Explosive” Allegations to Come…

“With regard to the investigation, which doesn’t get a lot of attention, into the Clinton foundation, the DOJ designated John Huber to look into this. They have 6,000 pages of evidence that they’ve gone through. The foundation raised $2.5 billion, and they’re looking into potential improprieties. What’s next on this investigation?” the Fox News host questioned Congressman Meadows.

“Well, I think for the American people, they want to bring some closure, not just a few sound bites, here or there, so we’re going to be having a hearing this week, not only covering over some of those 6,000 pages that you’re talking about, but hearing directly from three whistleblowers that have actually spent the majority of the last two years investigating this,” Meadows answered.

The Gateway Pundit reports:

Some of the allegations they make are quite explosive, Martha and as we just look at the contributions — now everybody’s focused on the contributions for the Clinton Foundation and what has happened just in the last year, but if you look at it, you know, it had a very strong rise, the minute she was selected as Secretary of State — then it dipped down when she was no longer there and then rose again, when she decided to run for president. So there’s all kinds of allegations of you know, pay-to-play and that kind of thing, “Meadows said.

Take a look:

In the three years following Hillary Clinton’s departure from her position in the State Department, the Clinton Foundation donations dropped by 90%.

The Gateway Pundit writes, “Hillary Clinton left the State Department in 2013 and it looks like nobody wants to pay since she can no longer play.”

Currently, the Clinton Foundation is being put under investigation by the Justice Department and the FBI for a whole plethora of reasons.

The Hill reports that the Clinton Foundation is also being investigated by the IRS in order to find out whether or not any “tax-exempt assets were converted for personal or political use.”

Numerous Clinton emails backing up the idea that the Clinton Foundation was involved in “pay-to-play” schemes during Clinton’s time serving as the head of the Department of State have been found by Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch.
