Comedian George Lopez got into an altercation with a President Donald Trump supporter who was reportedly harassing him at a Hooters restaurant in New Mexico.

The 15-second cell phone video, which was obtained by TMZ, was recorded on Sunday. It begins with a man looking at his cell phone saying “Here comes my boy George” as Lopez appears to walk out of the restaurant.

“Jorge Lopez!” the man can be heard shouting.

The comedian then approaches the self-proclaimed Trump supporter and asks, “Posting more bull****?”

Lopez appears to grab the man’s cell phone as the alleged Trump fan yells that Lopez wants to fight him.

“He’s a badass! Look at him! He wants to fight me!” the unknown man can be heard saying.

Lopez can be heard saying something unintelligible during the scuffle. He then grabs the man’s neck while the man can be heard shouting “George wants to fight me!” before the video ends. A person close to Lopez told TMZ the man had been taunting the comedian the whole night, making pro-Trump comments, and shouting “MAGA!” in the restaurant.

This is not the first time the comedian has shown disdain for Trump or his supporters. In July, Lopez pretended to urinate on Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. A video of the 57-year-old comedian captured by TMZ showed Lopez taking out a small bottle and dumping water onto Trump’s star as if he were using the bathroom. Once the bottle was empty, Lopez walked away while witnesses cheered.

Despite receiving a warm reception over his jokes about Trump, the comedian’s jokes about the president have not always been widely received as funny. While Lopez was performing at a benefit gala in Denver, Colorado, in 2017 to honor the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, Lopez was asked to stop making jokes about Trump. He was booed off stage by donators at the event when he continued, People reported.

Lopez is not the only comedian to crack on Trump or the administration. In March, comedian Michelle Wolf was slammed for her comments she made about Trump and members of the administration during the White House Correspondents Dinner. Wolf’s jokes about White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders during the dinner outraged many conservatives, including Trump. He wrote about the disgust over Wolf’s jokes on Twitter following the reception.

“The White House Correspondents’ Dinner was a failure last year, but this year was an embarrassment to everyone associated with it. The filthy “comedian” totally bombed (couldn’t even deliver her lines-much like the Seth Meyers weak performance). Put Dinner to rest, or start over!” Trump previously tweeted.

Florida Recount Underway, Guess Who Hasn’t BEGUN Recounting

The Florida recount is underway. At least, it should be underway. Results are due Thursday, but one county hasn’t even STARTED its recount yet. Take a wild guess.

Broward County? DING DING DING we have a winner!

I don’t even know why I’m surprised.

Two days after state officials ordered a statewide recount in three key races that ended within razor-thin margins, Broward County elections officials said Monday they have not yet started their recount of more than 700,000 ballots it must tally before Thursday’s deadline.

Broward Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes said she was not concerned that her office would not meet its deadline, even if the start of the recount is delayed until Tuesday morning.

“No, there is not” any concern, said Snipes, whose headquarters in Lauderhill were once again surrounded Monday by a small crowd of protesters critical of the elections chief and her competence to serve.

Ridiculous. For crying out loud, Miami-Dade is practically done.

By noon on Monday, Miami-Dade managed to recount about half of the more than 800,000 votes cast in the 2018 election. Broward County had not yet started its state-mandated recount.

The stark contrast in pace from Florida’s two largest sources of ballots highlights the pressure facing Broward as it tries to meet a Thursday afternoon deadline to recount the more than 700,000 votes cast in the largely Democratic county.

Broward County is ridiculous.

Former Facebook Security Chief Just Blindsided Google CEO With Earth Shattering Claim

Many have been critical of Google’s plan to launch a censored search engine in China, now a former Facebook executive has called out Google’s CEO for lying about the company’s motives.
Facebook’s former security chief Alex Stamos took to Twitter recently to attack Google CEO Sundar Pichai for his comments defending the company’s decision to move into the China market with its censored search engine known as “Project Dragonfly,” Silicon Beat reports.

In a recent interview with the New York Times, Pichai stated that Google was “committed to serving users in China” and compared Chinese censorship laws to the “right to be forgotten” law in the European Union. Pichai received severe criticism for this comparison, both internally and from those outside of Google.

“Tech companies constantly walk a difficult path between complying with local law and protecting human rights,” Stamos tweeted Thursday. “For Sundar to compare the “right to be forgotten” (which I agree is problematic) with censorship in China is, at best, amoral and mendacious.”

Stamos further added that: “China’s censorship regime is a tool to maintain the absolute control of the party-state and is in no way comparable,” to the right to be forgotten law.

Google software engineer Colin McMillen tweeted: “It is extremely bad that Sundar appears to either think that RTBF is morally equivalent to government surveillance & censorship, or that he appears to think that nobody will notice this analogy is extremely inaccurate.”
