Home Depot Founder Risks Entire Company With Shock Announcement – Trump’s Doing It Anyway!

Published

on

Major retailers around the nation have become battlegrounds for political correctness, using their businesses as soapboxes to make social statements. In a time when online business has disrupted the retail market and big box stores are diminishing by the dozen, it doesn’t seem wise to polarize your customer base with a divisive stance.

Home Depot’s number one competition, Lowe’s, has proven to stay true to their core values and the American people, especially our nation’s heroes and their families. Meanwhile, their counterpart has received some pretty bad press over the past two to three years regarding an apparent disrespect for the military. Most of this seemed to occur at the store level and not a decision condoned or approved by the corporation especially since the CEO of the home improvement giant is a major Trump supporter, a fact the founder has not been shy about.

Now the man responsible for the fate of his retail business has just risked his entire company in making a sudden shock announcement.

Prior to today, when Trump was campaigning to be president, Home Depot founder Ken Langone told CNBC that if he pulls off a win, he could go down as “one of our greatest presidents ever.” It was a sentiment in which the majority of Americans proved to agree with having voted him into office. Now, we’re seeing his support for our president in an even bigger way and more importantly, Langone’s commitment to make America great again in a special way that has left military families in America in total shock.

What many American businesses, sports figures, and celebrities get routinely wrong is that they make political statements in vain to say they are against division, when they are really being an anti-American and perpetuating the problem. This often includes using their platform to publicly trash our president. Home Depot knows that while they may offend “some” people, they are promoting something better with their patriotism that we as a country can and should all get behind.

In this recent move, they are showing their appreciation in a big way for the men and women who fight for our freedom and right to make any social statement we want.

Fox Business reports:

The Home Depot Foundation, a leadership arm for the company founded by Bernie Marcus, Arthur Blank and with the help of Ken Langone, hammered down on its pledge to closing the gap among skilled laborers in America.

It announced Thursday it would commit $50 million to train 20,000 tradespeople over the next 10 years, starting with separating military members and veterans, at-risk youth and members of the Atlanta Westside community, in an effort to reduce the number of unfilled construction sector jobs in the U.S. Currently, there are 158,000 unfilled jobs in the sector, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which projects the total employment number of construction laborers to increase 10.5% by 2026. As FOX Business reported, many six-figure jobs in the sector are going unfilled.

“We want to bring shop class back, from coast-to-coast,” Shannon Gerber, executive director of The Home Depot Foundation, said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to train 20,000 next-generation plumbers, electricians, carpenters and beyond. It’s a true honor to welcome our first classes of separating soldiers as they transition to civilian life and into successful careers in the trades.”

To those who don’t value the sacrifice of our service members or recognize that these heroes are the backbone of our country, they probably think this is somehow unfair. They are probably also the same disgruntled people who left Lowe’s in boycott and took their business to Home Depot after Lowe’s proudly pulled their ads from appearing in the commercial spots during the All American Muslim show on the TLC network. Now, disgruntled anti-American shoppers will have nowhere to go, realizing that their message isn’t appreciated anywhere.

Just as Lowe’s probably lost far fewer customers than they gained from that move, Home Depot probably won’t miss them either. Business is booming for those who choose to respect our country and the values this nation was built on, which is how it should be. The same can’t be said for companies who continue to cater to the liberal agenda.

The country needs to see more of this and likely will within the next four years under President Donald Trump’s leadership. He constantly praises our military which is how it always should be.

American businesses should look at what Home Depot does for our military members and how they treat them and follow their lead. It’s beyond time for this to be the trend as opposed to who can make a bigger anti-American social justice statement. Well done, Home Depot!

As the most reliable and balanced news aggregation service in the world, RWN offers the following information published by Breitbart:

Stephanie Grisham, spokeswoman for First Lady Melania Trump, called out rapper-actor T.I. over his “disgusting” rap video featuring Mrs. Trump as a nude stripper dancing on a Resolute desk in a fake Oval Office.

“How is this acceptable,” Grisham tweeted at T.I. while calling for a boycott of the Ant-Man and the Wasp star.

The Atlanta-based rapper took his criticism of Kanye West and President Donald Trump’s Oval Office confab to a whole new level, tweeting a one-minute music video Friday featuring the faux first lady in the buff. Though dragging Melania Trump into the beef upped the ante.

As Breitbart’s Warner Todd Huston reported:

The not safe for work clip features T.I. hanging around in the Oval Office after the president is seen flying off on Marine One. The rapper then sits behind the Resolute Desk smoking a cigar as a woman who looks like Melania Trump comes in wearing that famous “I Really Don’t Care, Do U?” coat.

The rapper captioned the tweet with the raunchy video, saying, “Dear 45, I ain’t Kanye.”

On Thursday, T.I. took to Instagram and called the Kanye West-Trump Oval Office meeting “shameful.”

“From what I can gather… This is the most repulsive, disgraceful, Embarrassing act of desperation & auctioning off of one’s soul to gain power I’ve ever seen,” he wrote.

Taylor Swift Got On Her Knees Begging Dems – Turned Out She’s Just a Hypocrite

Taylor Swift has made headlines over the past week for her recent comments on social media. The usually quiet woman when it comes to politics has now taken a political stance. In fact, she has now endorsed someone for Congress. But it is not a Republican.

The Tennessee native has homes all across the United States but she only spoke about her home state representative. Something that has gotten a lot of support and negative media attention. Information Liberation reported,

“A search of the Tennessee Secretary of State’s official voter registration database suggests that Taylor Swift may not be registered to vote in the state of Tennessee. Swift was praised by the media earlier this week for harshly attacking Republican Senate candidate Marsha Blackburn and endorsing her opponent Democrat Phil Bredesen. She told her supporters “we have to vote” even if we don’t 100% agree with our preferred candidates on every issue.

Swift reportedly owns two homes in Nashville, Tennessee, both of which are in Davidson County. She also has several other residences in New York, Beverly Hills and Rhode Island. If you put the name Taylor Swift with the county of residence as Davidson and year of birth as 1989 (Taylor Alison Swift was born on December 13, 1989), the state government’s website says: “No record was found. Please verify the information below and search again. If your information cannot be found, please contact your local county election commission to verify the accuracy of the information on file.”

Similarly, no record was found when the county was switched to the other largest counties in Tennessee of Shelby, Knox, Hamilton, Rutherford, Williamson, Montgomery, Sumner, Sullivan, Wilson, Blount, Washington or Bradley.

Replacing “Taylor” with the misspelled “Tayler” also came up empty. It’s not clear what state Swift claims as her residence, but she specifically said on October 8th on Instagram, “I will be voting for Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for House of Representatives.”

The website claims that their voter registration data is “current as of October 10th, 2018.” The last day to register to vote in Tennessee was October 9th. If Swift is intending to vote as she claimed, she may want to contact her local county election commission.”

Fox News reported,

“On Sunday, Swift urged her 112 million Instagram followers to register to vote and cast their ballot for Blackburn’s opponent, former governor Phil Bredesen. After her post, voter registration in Tennessee went up to 65,000 registrations in a 24-hour period. However, a new New York Times poll on Friday shows Blackburn is ahead of Bredesen by 14 points.

Swift wrote to her followers, “As much as I have in the past and would like to continue voting for women in office, I cannot support Marsha Blackburn. Her voting record in Congress appalls and terrifies me.” Swift said the congresswoman “voted against equal pay for women.

She voted against the Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, which attempts to protect women from domestic violence, stalking, and date rape. She believes businesses have a right to refuse service to gay couples. She also believes they should not have the right to marry.”

“These are not MY Tennessee values,” the “Fearless” singer said online. Swift wrote she will be voting for Bredesen for the Senate, and also for Rep. Jim Cooper, a Democrat who’s running for re-election. Blackburn told Fox Business’ Connell McShane on Wednesday she believed her constituents would not be swayed by the celebrity.

“Tennesseans are more interested in the fact that Marsha Blackburn is endorsed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, by the Fraternal Order of Police, by the Police Benevolent Association and by the National Rifle Association, where I have an ‘A’ rating and their endorsement,” Blackburn said.

In 2016, Blackburn won her House re-election race, defeating Democrat Tharon Chandler. She represented Tennessee’s 7th congressional district. Blackburn received more than 72 percent of the vote, The New York Times reported. Blackburn is running to replace Republican Sen. Bob Corker’s seat. Corker announced last year that he will be retiring from the Senate. Bredesen is running against Blackburn.

Following Swift’s endorsements, President Trump told reporters on Monday that he likes her music “about 25 percent less.” “I’m sure Taylor Swift has nothing or doesn’t know anything about her,” Trump said of the 28-year-old singer. “Let’s say that I like Taylor’s music about 25 percent less now, OK?””

Swift is an entertainer and musician, known as a best-selling artist with over 40 million albums sold worldwide with 27.8 million in the U.S. She has received a plethora of recognition from the Nashville Songwriters Association, the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and she has received over 10 Grammy’s, 1 Emmy, and 23 Billboard Music Awards.

She has also been recognized with 6 Guinness World Records and 12 County Music Association Awards. She has appeared twice in Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world, as well as on Forbes’s list of top-earning women in music for several years from 2011 to 2015. As her fame and fortune have grown, so has her propensity to comment on political issues.

Despite her argument that she tends to stay out of political issues she has routinely commented and engaged in the political arena. During the 2008 presidential campaign, she supported a then-presidential candidate and nominee Barack Obama. She participated and helped to promote the Every Woman Counts Campaign as well.

She has vocally referred to herself as a feminist and has had close ties with the Kennedy Family. In the past, she has spoken about her admiration and respect for Ethel Kennedy. After the murder of Larry King, she became an outspoken LGBT advocate and worked on an anti-bullying campaign with her music.

Share if you could not care less what Taylor Swift thinks about politics.

Share if you believe that the fact that this is a headline story when there are far more serious issues going on is terrible.
