Judge Just Dropped Crushing Anvil On Illegal Immigrants In America Overnight – He’s Done

Published

on

Now, this is an odd turn of events.

Judge John D. Bates, the federal judge who had ordered the government to restart the Obama-era DACA deportation amnesty has now backed off his decision and even went as far and said the government is not under any obligation whatsoever to begin accepting brand new applications.

He later added that he sees the legal mess that has come from DACA and expressed concern that he didn’t want to make things worse. Because of this, he issued a partial stay of his own ruling. This means that while illegal alien “Dreamers” who already have had DACA protections are able to apply for renewals, going forward no new applicants can apply to start the process.

“The federal judge who had ordered the government to restart the Obama-era DACA deportation amnesty in full backed off his decision Friday and said the government does not, after all, have to begin accepting brand new applications.

Judge John D. Bates acknowledged the legal mess that’s arisen around DACA and said he didn’t want to make it worse, so he issued a partial stay of his own ruling.

That means that while illegal immigrant “Dreamers” who already have had DACA protections can apply for renewals, no brand new applicants can apply to start the process.

Judge Bates also delayed part of his previous ruling that would have allowed those with DACA to apply for special protections known as advance parole — permission to travel outside the U.S. and then return — which can, in some cases, turn into a pathway to citizenship.

Hundreds of DACA recipients had exploited that loophole under the Obama administration, but the Trump administration had shut it down.

The government had said that if DACA were completely restarted more than 100,000 new applications would be filed, as well as 30,000 requests for advance parole. That would overwhelm U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the agency that handles the applications, Judge Bates ruled.

He said he realized illegal immigrants were being denied rights he said they were entitled to, but said he feared the confusion that would result.

“Because that confusion would only be magnified if the court’s order regarding initial DACA applications were to take effect now and later be reversed on appeal, the court will grant a limited stay of its order and preserve the status quo pending appeal, as plaintiffs themselves suggest,” he said in a short opinion late Friday.

Immigrant-rights advocates, who had originally wanted a full restart, eventually changed their minds and agreed with the split ruling of no new DACA applications, but renewals could be processed.

That decision was based on a legal gamble.

DACA cases are pending in three courts right now. Judge Bates‘ case is likely to be appealed to the circuit court in Washington, D.C., while circuit courts are already handling appeals of similar decisions from California and New York.

Each of those lawsuits challenged the Trump administration’s decision last year to phase out DACA. The judges in those cases ruled that the Trump administration cut too many corners, and so the phaseout is illegal.

But another case in Texas involves a challenge to the original 2012 Obama administration decision to create DACA in the first place. If that judge were to rule against DACA it would create a messy situation where the program itself is illegal — but so is the phaseout.

The activists in the case before Judge Bates figured that they could undercut the anti-DACA Texas case by agreeing not to allow new DACA permits to be granted.”

Judge Bates also decided to delay part of his previous ruling. That part consisted in allowing those with DACA to apply for special protections known as “advance parole.” Which is a permission to travel outside the U.S. and then return, which in some cases has turned into a pathway to citizenship, or amnesty.

Of course, thousands of DACA recipients exploited that obvious loophole under the Obama administration but since now we have a president who believes in the rule of law, the Trump administration has shut it down.

The Trump Administration had originally argued that if DACA were completely restarted more than 100,000 new applications would be filed. Not to mention 30,000 requests for advance parole. According to Judge Bates, his move would overwhelm U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

As of now, DACA cases are currently pending in three federal courts. Judge Bates‘ case is likely to be appealed to the liberal circuit court in Washington, D.C. Other similar cases are already being handled by liberal appeals courts in California and New York.

But another case in Conservative Texas a challenge to the original 2012 Obama administration decision to create DACA in the first place could change everything. If the judge there were to rule against DACA it would create a messy situation where the program itself is illegal, but so would it’s eventual end.

The pro-illegal alien activists in the case before Judge Bates took a gamble that they could undercut the anti-DACA Texas case by agreeing not to allow new DACA permits to be granted.

CNN Refers to Nancy Pelosi As A ‘Bad Ass’ – Realize Big Mistake Too Late

CNN never knows when to quit. They show their true colors day after day. These people are nothing but activists pretending to be journalists. That’s all these people are.

Another reason why their station is failing. You almost have to laugh in order to keep from going insane after reading their propaganda piece. Truly frightening how much they love rich Pelosi. Name one good thing she’s done for the country..CNN?

What’s sickening is to think once she’s out of office..she will be living the life..wealthy as can be. We need to stop allowing these politicians to have a lifetime in politics. All they do is become more and more wealthy.

Lord, help us.

From RedStateWatcher:

CNN is running a series it looks like using the hashtag #BadassWomenDC starting with the most liberal woman Nancy Pelosi. CNN dubs Pelosi the “original Badass Woman of Washington.”

Many on Twitter see this are pure propaganda for the Democrats:

From CNN:

In many ways, Nancy Pelosi is the original Badass Woman of Washington.

There are the obvious reasons, not the least of which is her place in the history books as the first female House speaker.

But it is more than that. It is how she got there — excelling in a man’s world and playing in what was traditionally a boy’s club of politics — as well as, and often better than, her male counterparts.

She’s had plenty of detractors and naysayers, even among Democrats. But she is seen as effective, so much so that even her political opponents — mostly men — have repeatedly told me over the years that they marvel at her leadership of her caucus.

For all the interviews Pelosi does, she doesn’t talk often about her struggles and challenges as a woman. But here, she spoke quite candidly about it all.

“I get some names called, because if you’re effective as a woman, then they have to undermine you, because that’s a real threat,” Pelosi told us in an interview.

“I’m probably more of a target than anybody, except for somebody who runs for president,” she said.

Talk about an understatement. For years Pelosi has been the ultimate Republican boogeyman — or boogeywoman, as it were. She’s a frequent target of Republican ire for being too far to the left — and she’s also a target among progressives for not being far left enough.

Some fellow Democrats are now distancing themselves from Pelosi, promising not to vote for her as House speaker again even though her party has won a majority in the House of Representatives in the midterm elections and shifted the power dynamics in President Donald Trump’s Washington.
So far, no one has emerged to challenge her. And Pelosi is unmoved.

“I have a broad base of support in the country, financially, politically, and otherwise, which is valuable to our caucus,” argued Pelosi.

“None of us is indispensable, but some of us are just better at our jobs than others,” she added matter-of-factly.

She toots her own horn to show women how it’s done

As she was telling me how qualified she is to be House speaker again, it struck me how unusual it is to hear a woman talk so confidently about how uniquely qualified she is for a job or position she is seeking. Though I am no shrinking violet, it is often hard for me to toot my own horn that way, something I admitted in the moment to Pelosi.

“For most women, frankly, myself included, it is hard to say those words, ‘I am uniquely qualified. I deserve this. I earned this. I can do this better than anyone else,'” I told Pelosi.
“You know why I do it? I do it, because I want women to see that you do not get pushed around. You don’t run away from the fight,” she responded. Continue Reading

BREAKING: Trump FIRE Boss In TOP SPOT – Will Also Replace Chief Of Staff

As the most reliable and balanced news aggregation service in the world, RWN offers the following information published by Reuters:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to remove Department of Homeland Security chief Kirstjen Nielsen and is considering replacing chief of staff John Kelly in another shakeup of his administration, a source close to the White House said.

Trump has been mulling removing Nielsen, a Kelly protege who became the secretary at Homeland Security when he left the job to become Trump’s chief of staff, for a number of weeks, the source said.

The source cautioned Trump could still change his mind on the matter, but said he has grown weary of her in his push to harden the U.S. border with Mexico.

Trump has not decided on a candidate to replace Nielsen, the Wall Street Journal reported.

“The Secretary is honored to lead the men and women of DHS and is committed to implementing the President’s security-focused agenda to protect Americans from all threats and will continue to do so,” said Tyler Houlton, a Department of Homeland Security spokesman, in response to an ABC News report about the possible staff changes.

Trump is also considering replacing Kelly, an ardent defender of Nielsen, with Vice President Mike Pence’s chief of staff, Nick Ayers, the source said.

Kelly, a retired Marine Corps general, has sought to bring more stability to the White House operation under the unpredictable Trump.

During his time as chief of staff, he and the president have had a rocky relationship, according to various news reports and Bob Woodward’s best-selling book “Fear: Trump in the White House.”

If they leave, Kelly and Nielsen would join a long list of people who have been fired by Trump or resigned since he took office in January, 2017. That list includes former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and former Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who was removed by the president last week.
