Kneeling NFL Team Offers Blue Lives Matter Big Partnership – Get Legendary Rejection Instead

Published

on

I’ve followed Blue Lives Matter for quite some time now. The pro-police officer group is a great source of information and very true to the cause of supporting police officers and all they do. In fact, their site is one of my daily haunts for news these days. I would imagine having them support a sports team or a group is a big deal and carries a lot of weight with their respective fans. These are individuals who stand between crime, the bad guys and the rest of us and put their lives on the line every day without hesitation. I have the highest respect for police officers and for the group Blue Lives Matter.

They were just recently asked to join with the New York Jets in a partnership within the National Football League. They decided on Saturday to turn down that offer and their founder was quick to defend the pro-police officer group. Joe Imperatrice was the one who declined the team’s offer this week. He said that the National Football League does not respect police officers.

This incident played out as preseason protests continue to occur as players kneel in defiance of the league’s mandate that they stand for the National Anthem. The controversy is still raging and many fans are saying they will just walk away from the National Football League this year if it is not stopped. For ESPN’s part, they have decided not to air the National Anthem before games that they broadcast.

Imperatrice appeared Saturday on “Cavuto Live” on Fox News. He stated that he takes issue with associating his organization with the Jets. He related to Neil Cavuto just how touching it had been to see the son of fallen NYPD Det. Joseph Lemm saluting his father’s casket that had an American flag draped over it. “That’s why we stand,” he said. “We’re gonna stand because Joe can’t anymore.” When I hear that, I get choked up as well.

Imperatrice has an issue with a specific player on the New York Jets team… running back Isaiah Crowell. Crowell posted an image to Instagram in 2016 that depicted a police officer’s throat being slashed. The caption read: “Mood: They give polices all types of weapons and they continuously choose to kill us…#Weak.” That image has since been deleted but just about everyone saw it and frankly, I’ve never been able to forget it. It was a violent, hateful message to police officers and went beyond the pale.

Bulak attempted to smooth things over by pointing out that no Jets player has knelt during the National Anthem. “I appreciate you sharing your opinion and although I can’t comment too much on it what I will say is the Jets have never had a player protest our anthem. The Jets have always been supportive of our police, firefighters, EMTs, etc. and will continue to do so,” he wrote, including a flyer for the team’s First Responders Night.

During his interview with Cavuto, Imperatrice said that players such as Crowell should be held accountable for their actions by their respective teams. And they should be. That’s the way it used to be.

“These family members that lose their loved ones can’t hit the rewind button. … [Crowell] was able to press rewind,” he said. Death has no do-overs… something police officers are painfully aware of. Their families are too.

“With the NFL season right around the corner, there is no better time to open up a conversation about how your business/organization can benefit from a partnership with the New York Jets,” stated an email from the Jets’ Anthony Bulak to Blue Lives Matter founder Joe Imperatrice. But the NFL is just too toxic for the group these days and they aren’t alone in that sentiment.

According to the New York Post, emails that were shared with the media outlet that transpired between Imperatrice and the Jets show that Imperatrice told a team official that he felt it wasn’t the right time for a partnership. “Once again I do appreciate the offer but revenue we have could better be spent on the families of officers killed in the line of duty protecting the ignorance of these individuals rather than contributing to their paycheck.” That’s very blunt and to the point. I can’t say that I blame him in the least either.

Imperatrice also chimed in on the news that ESPN will not join coverage of “Monday Night Football” games until after the National Anthem is played which I brought up previously. “That’s like saying when a little child goes and does something bad and takes a candy bar, the parent [pays for it] instead slapping their wrist and saying ‘don’t do it.'” Again… ouch. But I certainly agree.

In the end, I totally understand Imperatrice and Blue Lives Matter turning down the partnership request. Until the NFL cleans up their act and actually imposes solid requirements of proper behavior on their players and severely disciplines those that step out of line, especially in regards to police officers, I doubt that Blue Lives Matter will ever partner with any of their teams.

After Years of Shady Clinton Behavior, News Breaks On Biden Family That Destroy His Political Career

Although the fake news mainstream media is busy trying to sell the idea that former Vice President Joe Biden is leading when it comes to the 2020 Democrat nomination, even though he’s not officially in the running, the famed author of “Clinton Cash” might have something to say about that.

Chicks On The Right report that author Peter Schweizer said in a recent interview that he believes that corruption by the political elite will probably be the central issue during the 2020 campaign. And he has been very detailed at outlining this corruption in his new book, “Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends,” although he is now claiming there are a lot more questions raised after New York convicted Devon Archer who is a friend and partner to Hunter Biden, the former Vice President’s son.

Watch.

Here is more on this via PJ Media:

“President Barack Obama led regulatory attacks on numerous industries during his tenure at the White House. In many cases, his regulations — ostensibly to protect the public good — tanked the stock of various companies, enabling his close friends to swoop in and buy them for pennies on the dollar. Perhaps no figure best represents this “smash and grab” technique better than Marty Nesbitt, now head of the Obama Foundation.

Nesbitt first met Obama back in the 1980s, after playing basketball with Michelle Obama’s brother, Craig Robinson, at Princeton University. While at business school in Chicago, he met Obama playing basketball. When Obama ran for Congress in 2000, Nesbitt served as campaign chairman. He also fundraised for Obama’s state Senate and U.S. Senate campaigns, and served as his campaign chairman in 2008.

Nesbitt’s wife delivered Obama’s two daughters, and his family frequently vacationed with the Obamas in Hawaii or Martha’s Vineyard. Nesbitt became chairman of the Obama Foundation in 2014. The Chicago Tribune has branded Nesbitt “the First Friend.”

Peter Schweizer’s new book “Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends” details exactly how Obama’s policies enabled Nesbitt to swoop in and profit after companies felt the regulatory fire of the White House.

Nesbitt even formed a firm called Vistria, aimed to capitalize on “the nexus of the public and private sectors.” He filed for the trademark shortly after Obama’s reelection, and ten days before joining the Obamas for Christmas in Hawaii.

“Obama and his administration would attack industries with government power, which led to substantially lower valuations for these companies. Nesbitt and Vistria, or others close to Obama, could then acquire those assets for pennies on the dollar,” Schweizer explains. Nesbitt followed this pattern in at least four industries targeted by Obama.

In 2013, President Obama turned his ire toward for-profit colleges. He declared that students were being “preyed upon very badly,” and accused these schools of “making out like a bandit.” For all their faults, for-profit schools have their defenders, and Nesbitt himself would later invest in America’s largest one.

The Obama administration began the push in 2011, when the Department of Education (DOE) announced the so-called gainful employment rule, requiring for-profit schools to track job placements for graduates. DOE meetings to craft regulations included Deputy Education Secretary Tony Miller and Secretary Arne Duncan, both of whom would later join Vistria.

The left-leaning Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) sounded the alarm about emails showing that senior DOE officials were communicating with hedge fund investors planning to “short” for-profit stocks based on these rules.

In his second term, Obama’s administration pushed “a broader series of crackdowns on the industry by agencies including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).”

The regulatory onslaught hit Apollo Education Group, which operated America’s largest for-profit college, the University of Phoenix, particularly hard. In July 2015, the FTC announced an investigation into Apollo, and in October, the Department of Defense (DOD) put the University of Phoenix on probation.

This DOD attack suspended the University of Phoenix at military bases across the country and cut off the school’s $2-4 billion per year in taxpayer funds. The soldiers, sailors, and Marines attending the school lost their GI Bill benefits, leaving some bereft of housing payments — and some homeless — as a result.

According to Schweizer, about 15 schools committed similar offenses to the University of Phoenix, but the Pentagon only suspended four of them, including this largest school.

Thanks to these attacks, Apollo’s stock price dropped from $11.29 per share in October 2015 to $6.38 by January 2016. The January price represented a 90 percent drop from January 2009 when Obama took office.”

This book is a must read. It covers everything about the so-called “no-scandal” Barack Hussein Obama presidency by outlining how all the President’s friends became rich off of the Obama Presidency.

How does everyone believe a person who comes into office, and is of meager means, leaves a multi-millionaire if not by corruption? And it’s not only Democrats who do this.

As an example, members of Congress make $174,000 a year plus expenses, but House Speaker Paul Ryan is worth almost 8 million dollars. You may ask yourself how does that happen? And politicians love telling us it’s because of book deals and the such. But I for one have read Paul Ryan’s book, although it’s not a bad read, it’s not worth a value of 8 million dollars. Nancy Pelosi makes the same $174,000 and she’s worth over $120 million dollars.

I’m not sure what kind of investments these people are up to, but I really wish they would share their secret with us peons who work hard every day to pay them a salary which apparently is meager peanuts to them.

Trump Sends Earthquake Through D.C. With Announcement Of Who He Wants To Fire ASAP

President Trump on Monday said Justice Department official Bruce Ohr should be fired for his involvement in the Russia investigation.

In a tweet calling for Ohr’s firing, Trump also took a swipe at Attorney General Jeff Sessions, suggesting he does not have the resolve to ax Ohr. Sessions has recused himself from the Russia probe.

“Will Bruce Ohr, whose family received big money for helping to create the phony, dirty and discredited Dossier, ever be fired from the Jeff Sessions ‘Justice’ Department? A total joke!” Trump tweeted.

The president’s latest attack came days after he said he planned to pull Ohr’s security clearance and called him a “disgrace” over his ties to an opposition research firm that compiled a dossier during the 2016 campaign about Trump’s ties to Russia.

Revoking Ohr’s clearance could severely hamper his ability to do his job and would amount to derailing his career at the Justice Department. But Trump’s comments show he may want the department’s leadership to go even further.

Ohr has come under fire from Republicans for his links to Fusion GPS, the firm behind the controversial dossier. Fusion GPS hired former British spy Christopher Steele to compile the document about Trump during the campaign.

Ohr was demoted late last year after it was revealed he had contacts with Steele. Ohr’s wife, Nellie, also worked for Fusion GPS during the campaign. Trump and his GOP allies have used those ties to argue the special counsel’s Russia probe is tainted by bias.

“‘Bruce Ohr is at the center of FALSE ALLEGATIONS which led to a multi-million dollar investigation into what apparently didn’t happen.’ Darrell Issa, House Oversight. We can take out the word ‘apparently,'” Trump said in a subsequent tweet, citing the Republican congressman’s comments on Fox news.
Now, this is why we the people elected Donald Trump as our 45th president!

In a tweet, on Monday President Trump made his feelings known when it comes to Justice Department official Bruce Ohr by saying he should be fired for his involvement in the Russia investigation.

But he didn’t stop there, he also rightly so took a swipe at Attorney General Jeff Sessions by suggesting he does not have the resolve to ax Ohr after Sessions recused himself from the taking in any part of the Russia probe.

This most recent latest by the president came only days after he said he planned to pull Ohr’s security clearance and called him a “disgrace” over his ties to an opposition research firm. Fusion GPS, which gathered the fake Russian dossier during the 2016 campaign about Trump’s ties to the Kremlin. This action would severely hamper Ohr’s ability to do his job at the justice department and would most certainly end his career.

Here is more on this via The Hill:

“Trump has targeted Ohr as part of a broader effort to retaliate against key figures involved in the Russia probe, which is examining ties between his campaign and Moscow’s interference in the 2016 election.

The president has already revoked the security clearance of former CIA Director John Brennan, who briefed Trump on the dossier’s findings and later became a vocal Trump critic.

In a series of morning tweets, Trump dared Brennan to sue him over the revocation and blasted special counsel Robert Mueller’s team of investigators as a “national disgrace.”

Trump is lashing out at a time when he is feeling intense pressure over the Russia probe.

His former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, is facing more than a dozen financial fraud charges brought by Mueller and a verdict could come at any moment. Longtime Trump fixer Michael Cohen is likely to be charged soon over alleged bank fraud, according to a New York Times report. And the Times revealed over the weekend White House counsel Don McGahn has been cooperative with Mueller than previously thought.”

Fusion GPS hired actually hired a former British spy by the name of Christopher Steele to compile the fake dossier about Donald Trump during the campaign and Ohr was forced to take a demotion in late 2017 after it was discovered that he had previous contact with Steele. Ohr’s wife, Nellie, worked for Fusion GPS during the time of the campaign.

President Trump has previously targeted Ohr as part of a broader strategy in order to retaliate against key players who are involved in the partisan Russian probe, which is currently looking into ties between the Trump campaign and Moscow’s alleged interference in the 2016 election.

Last week the president revoked the security clearance of former CIA Director John Brennan.

Brennan was the operative who originally briefed the president on the dossier’s findings but later became a vocal Trump critic.

The president is stepping up his efforts of late in order to rid the nation of the swamp. And make no mistake about it, all these characters mentioned are neck deep in swamp water.
