Libs Furious At What Trump Dared To Say Instead Of Paying Tribute To Dying John McCain

Published

on

It is no secret how I feel about Senator John McCain (R-AZ). I do not care for the man and never have. I think that since he has fallen ill he has gotten even more vindictive and petulant towards President Trump. McCain’s temper and vitriolic hatred are legendary. While I feel for him and his family concerning his terminal diagnosis with brain cancer, I cannot condone his political machinations even at this late stage of the game.

McCain did not step down when he became ill so someone could take his place. Now, with his passing, it is almost a certainty that his wife will be chosen to take his place for the next two years. That was not happenstance. It was planned. I have respect for the dying but that respect is tempered with disgust by politics played to the very end.

President Trump does not care for McCain either and he’s not shy about letting it be known either. He did not pay tribute to the senator in his public address Friday after the former prisoner of war announced he was stopping treatment for his aggressive brain cancer. And I do not blame him for not doing so. Liberals are furious over the sleight.

Trump was not joined in his silence by many Republicans. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell offered their prayers and support to McCain after his family made the sad announcement yesterday. But the president, who has publicly clashed with McCain since the beginning of his 2016 presidential campaign, has been notably silent. You know why? Because to say something he does not believe is hypocrisy and Trump has zero respect for McCain.

President Trump gave a speech at a fundraising dinner for the Ohio Republican Party in Columbus, Ohio. He addressed illegal immigration, the failure of the Democrats and the biased media. But not once did he deign to mention the 35-year veteran of Congress who Trump has frequently sparred with over recent years.

Democrats & liberals sounded off on social media about Trump’s silence.

McCain is painted as a great senator, but in reality, he is not a true Republican or a conservative in any sense of the word. He’s a moderate at best and a progressive at worst and he would have been far more at home in the Democratic Party who he voted with frequently.

At one point in this feud, Trump claimed that McCain wasn’t a war hero because he was captured and tortured in Vietnam. “I like people who weren’t captured,” Trump said in July 2015. There were many who were outraged by that statement, but there were also many who agreed with it. It didn’t phase me much one way or the other.

Trump’s silence over McCain was not the norm this week. There was an outpouring of support for McCain from many Republicans. “I would just ask each and every one of you to hold John McCain in your prayers,” Ryan said on Friday. “John is obviously entering the last stages, and this is a man who served our country in so many ways and capacities — who was a prisoner of war for several years at the Hanoi Hilton and then fought for us in Congress, and we just want to keep John McCain, Cindy, and their entire family in our prayers.”

As much as I dislike McCain, I would say the same thing. But I still don’t hold it against the president for not giving fake condolences to a man he does not care for. That’s a personal decision.

And let’s be blunt here. That dinner was to boost Republican candidates in Ohio. It was meant to address issues that are plaguing this nation. To mention McCain would have been a diplomatic move but Trump was more concerned with what is tearing us apart as a nation… illegal immigration. That makes the left furious.

Democrats would rather pay tribute to a dying John McCain than they would to Mollie Tibbetts who was murdered by an illegal alien. Where is the outrage over the left’s silence over her death? Over Mollie’s permanent separation from her family during this lifetime? They have no room to criticize the president here in my opinion.

Trump says “what happened to Mollie is a disgrace.” And it is. “Democrat immigration policies are destroying innocent lives and spilling very innocent blood,” Trump said. “We believe that any party that puts criminal aliens before American citizens should be out of office, not into office.” That’s true… and the left is outraged over him not mentioning McCain. SMH.

You would think it was a monstrous sin to not mention a dying Senator John McCain at a Republican dinner. But in reality, it wouldn’t have mattered if Trump had wept crocodile tears for McCain… the left would still rip him over it. It’s better to say nothing if in your heart you don’t feel sympathy for someone. It’s not the political thing to do, but it is the honest thing to do. And the Democrats just can’t stomach it because they consider McCain as one of their own.

CNN Reporter Tries To Get ‘Cute’ With Melania – Proved She Packs A Perfect Punch

The most reliable and balanced news aggregation service in the world, RWN offers the following information published by Daily Caller.

First lady Melania Trump’s spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham posted a sharp response to a CNN reporter who asked if Melania likes to watch CNN on Twitter Wednesday.

CNN reporter Kate Bennett tweeted:

Grisham said, “Did you know that every 15 minutes a baby is born with NAS? Maybe you’d like to talk about the 160,000 kids who skip school every day for fear of being bullied, or that 280,000 students are physically attacked in schools every month. Seems kind of silly to worry about what channel she watches on TV (any channel she wants btw) or if she heard some recording on the news.”

This comment came in response to a New York Times article that reported that Melania Trump was watching CNN on Air Force One, causing President Trump to get annoyed and demand that Fox News is played instead.

Trump Canceled Backstabbing Congress’ Fancy Picnic – Has Priceless Plan For All The Food

Published

on

There was supposed to be an annual congressional picknick but since President Trump rightly so felt like Congress didn’t deserve to have one he canceled it on the spot. “We are going to cancel and postpone tomorrow’s congressional picnic,” Trump said. “It doesn’t feel right to have a picnic for Congress when we are doing something very important.” He added, “It didn’t feel exactly right to me.”

This is what some have all been waiting to see for decades now.  Since the backstabbers in Congress have been avoiding doing their job for decades, it’s now being reported that President Trump hypothetically took them out behind the woodshed today. No, he didn’t beat them although the Liberal mainstream media may paint it as he did even worse to them.

But there was only one problem with the cancellation. The preparations had already begun.

The menu is awesome. It included ribeye Steaks, coleslaw, quinoa, spinach, black beans and a huge assortment of pies.

Since all this food was already being prepared President Trump decided to do what’s right. Instead of throwing it out he decided to feed all of the food to Walter Reed hospital patients, caregivers and employees at the Warrior and Family Center in Bethesda.

This was later confirmed by a USO spokeswoman.

What a beautiful gesture, to give all that top notch food to American heroes instead of the jokers in Congress.

Update America covered more on the canceled party and presentation of a good meal to those who seemed to deserve it a lot more! “President Donald Trump surprised members of Congress earlier this week when he abruptly canceled the annual Congressional Picnic.

Basically, the president felt like they didn’t deserve it.

The menu included “ribeye steaks, spinach, coleslaw, quinoa, black beans and pies.”

Rather than let Congress throw a fancy picnic, President Trump’s administration decided to feed all of the food to “Walter Reed hospital patients, caregivers and employees at the Warrior and Family Center in Bethesda,” Bloomberg’s Jennifer Jacobs reported.

That means America’s military heroes are going to be eating very good.

President Trump has called on Democrats to stop “obstructing” and work with Republicans to pass comprehensive immigration reform. Earlier this week, the president signed an executive order to keep immigrant families together. Now it’s lawmakers’ turn to do their job.

“We must maintain a Strong Southern Border. We cannot allow our Country to be overrun by illegal immigrants as the Democrats tell their phony stories of sadness and grief, hoping it will help them in the elections,” Trump tweeted on Friday. “Obama and others had the same pictures, and did nothing about it!”

Trump isn’t the only one who doesn’t seem happy with Congress. Their approval ratings aren’t doing so well among voters either.

“It’s no secret that Congress isn’t exactly the most popular institution in American government. But now it’s reaching new lows.

Congress sank to a 10% approval rating in a new Quinnipiac University poll released on Thursday, with roughly five in six Americans saying they disapprove of the country’s legislative body. This compares to an 18% approval rating in March. And if you’re searching for the main reason behind the drop, look no further than Republican voters.

Back in January and March, more than one in three Republicans said they had positive views of Congress, which is controlled by the GOP in both chambers.

But now, that’s plummeted to just 14% of Republican voters who give Congress a thumbs up. The new numbers come after a high-profile effort to repeal and replace Obamacare barely squeaked through the House and failed in a dramatic late-night vote in the Senate. Congress’s overall 10% approval is the lowest for Congress in Quinnipiac’s history of data back to 2003. Using Gallup data beyond that, it’s the lowest for Congress in data back to 1974. (Congress did reach a 9% approval rating in Gallup polling in November 2013 in the wake of a two-week government shutdown.) And to make matters worse, Republicans were Congress’s most supportive group. The low numbers stretch across every demographic division — only 12% of nonwhites, 12% of people under 35 years old, 11% of men, 10% of people over 65 years old, 9% of women and 9% of whites approve.

Support for Congress among independents has also bottomed out, falling from 18% in January to just 8% now. Democrats have remained essentially stable in the single digits.”

With all the issues we are facing today it’s no time for our so-called Representatives to be taking time to enjoy a BBQ. Especially when we have a party like the Democrats who seem intent on ruining our nation by forcing us into open borders along with the help of their mainstream media and celebrities who spread lies and misinformation.
