Little Boy Surprises Trump With Question After Hurricane – Watch How Trump Responds

Published

on

President Donald Trump arrived in New Bern, North Carolina after the Hurricane Florence hit to be hands on in helping displaced victims. Soon after he landed, he went right to work handing out aid and talking to people on a personal level. As one of the most relatable presidents America has ever had, he made an excellent effort to let everyone there know that they mattered to him and were not forgotten in their struggle.

While the leftist media has nitpicked every word he has said there and step he takes, they are “conveniently” ignoring on incredible moment. While at the aid distribution center meeting with families and offering his support, a little boy walked up to him alone and surprised the president with his question.

Trump stopped what he was doing and gave his full attention to this child who just survived a terrifying nightmare in this natural disaster. His response to the boy’s question was something this child will never forget and the country needs to see.

America The Awesome reports on the moving moment between the boy and the President of the United States:

After Hurricane Florence tore through the coastline, the Carolinas suffered great loss and are now struggling with massive flooding and property damage.

As the president handed out food to those in need while standing at a volunteer station, he also made a little boy’s day better in an adorable moment that stood out among the rest. The boy, named Tucker, approached the president with a simple question.

“Can I have a hug?” the little boy asked.

Trump them stretched out his arms and gave the little boy a hug. The other volunteer workers expressed their delight by giving him a round of applause.

After watching the president embracing Tucker, an elderly women said “I think I’m gonna cry,”.

President Trump’s kindness and support didn’t stop there. It’s clear from the footage and photos that he genuinely cares and isn’t just there to do what he “has to” as president. The boy feeling comfortable enough to ask Trump for a hug, speaks volumes of the kind of approachable and caring president we have — which he proved in his response by hugging the boy.

On the contrary, when former President Barack Obama visited New Jersey in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, he too hugged a victim in a photo that went viral, however for a much different reason than Trump’s hug of this little boy.

According to PhillyMag, who interviewed the victim, Donna Vanzant, who was famously hugged by Obama while he was surveying the damage, the President at the time also promised her “immediate” assistance. Vanzant definitely needed that help as she said she suffered $500,000 in losses.

Vanzant told PhillyMag what has happened since Obama’s promise:

“After his visit, I sent an email to President Obama. Many days later, I got a response back. It was disturbing.”

“It had nothing to do with what I was asking him. It was a form letter. It thanked me for supporting the troops. He made a promise to rebuild on national television, and I can’t even get this money. It’s heartbreaking, really. I did reach out to Senator Whelan, and I got a response that they were forwarding my email to the person that Governor Christie put in charge of Sandy relief. But from President Obama, I got a form letter.”

“When you get a hug from the President of the United States, you feel like there’s something there. A promise was made. I have two grown kids. One is a U.S. Navy diver. The other one lives at the marina with his wife and new baby, and they lost everything. But I raised my kids to know that your word is your word. You promise something, you keep it, and that was a broken promise. I’ve never been a person to expect free handouts, but the President gave me hope. But now, I just don’t know.”

From this suffering victim’s experience with the former president’s failed promise, it’s no wonder that the mainstream media isn’t interested in showing Trump’s genuine interaction with this child, for fear of the comparison. However, it’s an important comparison to be made since Trump is often accused of doing things for “Photo ops” yet he doesn’t make promises he can’t or doesn’t intend on keeping – which he’s proved throughout his presidency.

It was Obama who had the photo op, capitalizing on this woman’s worst moment to make him look like a good person and leader, but never followed through after getting the accolades from the viral image.

Knowing the inevitable attacks on his handling of this disaster are coming, Trump made a very direct statement in North Carolina:

“Right now, everybody is saying what a great job we are doing with Hurricane Florence – and they are 100% correct,” Trump tweeted. “But don’t be fooled, at some point in the near future the Democrats will start ranting… that FEMA, our Military, and our First Responders, who are all unbelievable, are a disaster and not doing a good job. This will be a total lie, but that’s what they do, and everybody knows it!”

Trump is the man for the job and hasn’t disappointed anyone but liberals who hoped he met their low expectations of him.

President Trump Just Put Brenda Snipes In Her Place – She’s DONE!

Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes has come under extreme fire for her handling of the 2018 midterm elections in her county. This isn’t the first time she’s been embroiled in election scandals either. It’s probably a stew of corruption and incompetence. Either way, President Trump is no fan of hers.

Trump is calling Snipes a ‘disgrace’. He’s putting her in her place and calling for her to be fired and removed from office. The president gave The Daily Caller the scoop on his opinion of Snipes and her handling of the voting in Broward County:

President Donald Trump believes that the embattled Broward County Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes is a “disgrace” and that she should be fired and removed from office.

The president spoke to The Daily Caller in an exclusive, wide-ranging interview Wednesday at the White House. The president did not mince words when asked about Snipes and the Florida recount.

Snipes has come under fire by media and elected Republicans alike for multiple irregularities in her vote reporting. After the Florida Senate race was called for Republican Gov. Rick Scott on election night, election supervisors in Broward and Palm Beach counties were still adding votes to their tally, in violation of Florida reporting law. In the subsequent days, Snipes defied a judge’s order to submit “over-voted” and “under-voted” absentee ballots for public review and admitted to “accidentally” mixing illegal ballots in with good ones. The illegal ballots “cannot be identified” now, according to Snipes.

TheDC asked the president specifically if he considers this behavior illegal and what Snipes future in her role as an election official should be.

“She’s a disaster,” Trump said of Snipes.

He pointed to Snipes’ past alleged election illegality, which included destroying ballots and opening ballots illegally.

“You look at her past, she’s a disaster,” Trump said, “Even with me. I won Florida and, you remember? That area, Broward, didn’t come in,” Trump said of Broward County, Fla. and Snipes. “You can only put in so many votes, although she may change that system.”

“When they call this woman incompetent, they’re wrong,” Trump said of Snipes. “She’s very competent but in a bad way.”

When asked directly by TheDC if Snipes should be removed from office, Trump said, “Oh, she should have been removed — I think she should have been removed in the middle of this mix-up.”

Scott has considered removing Snipes.

Trump went on to say they should’ve called Florida during the evening of the election. “Well, many votes were added to that, and, you know what’s going on. And now they have mixed them up. They mixed the votes up and now you can’t find the ones that were put in, they just put ’em into a batch.”

The president renewed his call for national voter ID laws and decried illegal voting.

“The Republicans don’t win and that’s because of potentially illegal votes,” Trump complained. “When people get in line that have absolutely no right to vote and they go around in circles. Sometimes they go to their car, put on a different hat, put on a different shirt, come in and vote again. Nobody takes anything. It’s really a disgrace what’s going on.”

“If you buy a box of cereal — you have a voter ID,” Trump continued. “They try to shame everybody by calling them racist or calling them something, anything they can think of when you say you want voter ID. But voter ID is a very important thing.”

When asked about how to prevent a repeat situation in the 2020 presidential election, Trump bluntly said Snipes needed to go, along with her “cronies.”

“First thing you do is fire her and her cronies. You get ’em out,” Trump said, recalling his own election night in 2016. “Remember how long it took to get Florida? But I had, fortunately, enough votes, and they were sitting there waiting. They said, ‘Broward County is not reporting.’ This went on for hours.”

Trump continued, “The panhandle was so devastating to ‘Crooked Hillary’ — that thing came in, then all of a sudden Broward came in. And I won by, you know, I won by a lot of votes. I call it four Yankee stadiums.”

Election workers in Florida are attempting to meet a 3:00 p.m. deadline on Thursday to finish their statewide recount for the Senate and Gubernatorial races.

Former Acting ICE Director Says Gov’t Is Ready To Send MAJOR Message To Approaching Caravan

As the most reliable and balanced news aggregation service in the world, RWN offers the following information published by The Daily Caller:

Former Immigration and Customs Enforcement Acting Director Tom Homan said it’s “game on” for the government’s showdown with the migrant caravan headed for the southern border, on “Fox & Friends” Wednesday.

“Game on. I think that the administration is ready,” Homan declared.

“[Customs and Border Protection] has of course got a lot more resources down there with the military building the infrastructure and the fencing. You’ve got a lot more inspectors and asylum officers down there from [Citizenship and Immigration Services] ready to start these interviews, if they come to a port of entry,” he continued.

“If they decide to enter this country illegally — of course with this president’s proclamation they’re not going to be allowed to claim asylum,” Homan said. “They’re going to be metered in and we’ll work at the government’s pace, not their pace.”

Homan said those who are rounded up should be held in detention until they see a judge and recommended they be deported and sent back so the United States can send a message.

“Hopefully if these people do come to the United States they’ll be detained until they see a judge,” Homan said. “Because back in 2014 when this first started, when they were detained long enough to see a judge, more than 80 percent of them lost their cases. They got put on planes and sent home, which sent a strong signal to Central America and the crossings depleted.”

“Hopefully we will send another message. They’ll get their due process but if a judge orders them removed they got to go,” he concluded.
