NASCAR Driver Lost Sponsorship Because His Father Used ‘N-word’ Before He Was Even Born

Published

on

I have never used the N-word. Not before it was taboo and certainly not after it was. Having said that, I am a huge supporter of the First Amendment and I do not believe in censoring free speech. A private entity can do that if they wish, but you still have the right to say what you want. You also have the right to face the consequences for saying it. But you should never have to pay the consequences of someone else saying things that others find offensive… even if it is a family member.

NASCAR Xfinity driver Conor Daly is living a nightmare right now. He lost one of his sponsors because his father uttered a racial slur back in the 1980s. Conor wasn’t even born yet, so why should he be punished? Even if he was born, he was not the transgressor here, his father was. Conor’s father Derek Daly was a racecar driver in the 80s but that still does not call for the son paying for the so-called sins of the father.

Lilly Diabetes issued a statement on Friday stating that they were pulling their sponsorship of Conor’s No. 6 car in the NASCAR Xfinity race at Road America, citing the racially insensitive remark made by his father Derek Daly that surfaced this week. He used the N-word decades ago and now his son is being punished for it. That’s outrageously absurd and Orwellian in the extreme.

The company said in a statement that its sponsorship was intended to raise awareness for treatment options and resources for people living with diabetes. What does that have to do with Conor’s father or what he said all those years ago? “Unfortunately, the comments that surfaced this week by Derek Daly distract from this focus, so we have made the decision that Lilly Diabetes will no longer run the No. 6 at Road America this weekend,” Lilly said. That is ridiculous and Lilly deserves to be shunned for this. This is political correctness gone mad.

Conor, who is an IndyCar driver, made his NASCAR debut at the rural Wisconsin road course with Roush Fenway Racing. “The last (24 hours) have been quite an unnecessarily difficult ride for my family. There is A LOT I want to say… but I’m still here and still racing,” Conor wrote on Twitter Friday night. Good for him. At least he’s not letting the PC bullies deter him from racing.

Conor suddenly found himself the center of controversy this week when his father Derek and Indianapolis Colts radio voice Bob Lamey both admitted to using the N-word. He was forced into a crap storm over it.

Daly senior, who is a former Indy 500 and Formula One driver, was fired from his job as a WISH-TV racing analyst this week following the news that he had used the N-word in an interview 30 years ago. That’s just nuts. Now no one is ever forgiven for saying something stupid. Perhaps that should be applied to those that use derogatory terms against other races as well if you get my drift. All of this should just stop.

Lamey suddenly retired when his comments were made public. I’m not sure I blame him on that count. I’d be done with it too given the PC lynchmob mentality out there currently.

Daly senior admitted to the slur during an interview. He had just moved to the U.S. at the time and said the term had a different meaning and connotation in his native Ireland. Which it did and that means this should not be happening even more so. Derek said he was ‘mortified’ when he learned how the term was used in America and has never used it since then. But that wasn’t good enough for the PC police. Not even close… they wanted his scalp and got it.

Conor is now 26 years old and of course, was not even born when the comment was made by his father. “Finally, I want everyone to know I deeply regret and sincerely apologize for what I said more than three decades ago,” Daly senior said in his statement.

Lilly Diabetes is still sponsoring the RFR-owned cars of drivers Ty Majeski and Ryan Reed at Road America. “We remain committed to our mission of supporting people with diabetes,” Lilly said. Yep, but you are bullies. Lilly wanted publicity and this is how they got it. It’s shameful.

Conor thanked Roush Fenway and his Twitter followers for their support in the wake of the controversy. He also thanked his former sponsor. “Lilly Diabetes has been a big part of my career and I’m very thankful,” Conor wrote. That was kind and diplomatic of him but Lilly did not deserve that courtesy in my opinion. If there were real justice here, all drivers would refuse sponsorship from Lilly over this.

Is this where we are now? That you can dig into someone’s family history and the current generation has to pay for the sins of those that went before them? Well then… we are all damned. Congratulations. Instead of living in a bully-free society, we now live in a society of nothing but bullies. Censorship is everywhere you go now and free speech is dying a gruesome death. This isn’t the America I grew up in, know or love. I don’t recognize her anymore and that is just sad beyond measure.

JUSTICE! Dog The Bounty Hunter Just Unleashed Hell On Man Who Threatened Trump’s Life

For years Dog the Bounty Hunter was one of TV’s most viewed shows.

Dog and his wife Beth have a bail bond company in Hawaii, they have a ragtag crew of people that track down criminals who skip bond and go on the run.  Most of the people who track these criminals are their own children with a few extras.

Dog also works out of Colorado with a special friend of theirs, Bobby Brown. He has a company that is based out of Denver and Colorado Springs. Even when working in a state where conceal carriers are everywhere, Dog and his crew only use nonlethal means to apprehend fugitives.

There was recently a case where a man named Shawn Richard Christy threatened the life of President Trump. A massive manhunt ensued where law enforcement is searching Pennsylvania for him and are coming up empty-handed.

Don’t worry, Dog just joined the hunt.

Fox News reported:

“Dog the Bounty Hunter” is joining the manhunt for a man who allegedly said he wanted to “put a bullet” in President Trump’s head.

“Dog the Bounty Hunter,” whose name is Duane Chapman, told the Mansfield News Journal he was joining the search for Shawn Richard Christy, 26, a Pennsylvania man who allegedly threatened the commander in chief.

Christy has been on the run since June 19 after allegedly threatening John M. Morganelli, the district attorney of Northampton County, Pa., and Trump in a Facebook post that has since been deleted.

Christy has been on the run since June 19 after allegedly threatening John M. Morganelli, the district attorney of Northampton County, Pa., and Trump in a Facebook post that has since been deleted.

Chapman told the media outlet from his home in Hawaii that he had a “very hot lead” on Christy’s location.

“I have delivered messages to him,” he continued. “My goal is not to shoot him but get him to surrender.”

The reality television star told the media outlet he was slated to arrive in Mansfield, Ohio, on Sept. 27. He was originally planning on visiting the area to host a town hall meeting on “Addiction and How to Find Your Road to Redemption.”

Chapman said he hoped he can help with the search and “bring him in peacefully.”

Following the Facebook post, a federal warrant was issued for Christy’s arrest. He is also wanted in Pennsylvania for burglary, probation violation and failure to appear for an aggravated assault case.

The search, which now involves the U.S. Marshals Service, the FBI, and the Secret Service, has spanned several states and has reached as far north as Canada. Christy was likewise being sought in Ohio, where he was believed to have abandoned a stolen truck.

Authorities have offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to the capture of Christy but have warned that he should be considered armed and dangerous.

On the show “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” often times criminals just turn themselves in once they catch with that Dog and his team are on the hunt. Christy may want to consider doing just that, either way, he’s going to get caught.

And $20,000 is just enough to keep Dog interested.

Melania Bravely Shows Up Solo With Big Surprise For Everyone Who Trashed Her For Weeks

The media loves to trash the First Family. They will make up whatever story that will get the ratings even if it’s fake news. (Hence why they’re called “Fake News”) They have zero standards anymore. The pursuit of truth isn’t their main objective anymore. It’s all about the ratings!

First Lady Melania Trump had gone MIA after she had surgery for her benign kidney. No one knew she had surgery, therefore, the media started making false accusations. They claimed a rocky relationship with the President. The media felt it was their job to find out where the First Lady had been.

In the middle of May, the news was released that First Lady Melania Trump had to undergo kidney surgery. The 48-year-old was hospitalized for several days after the surgery and remained out of the public eye for a few weeks while recovering. During that time, the mainstream media managed to think of several harmful rumors surrounding Melania’s whereabouts.

President Trump spoke out on social media attempting to dispel those rumors, though they continued to circulate. On May 16, First Lady Melania released her first statement after the surgery. Two weeks later, she had to address the rumors herself

Last week, the First Lady made her first public appearance since the surgery. She hosted a private White House event for Gold Star families.

The first lady gave remarks to conclude the gala, which included performances and awarded philanthropist Sheila C. Johnson and golfer Jack Nicklaus with the Lincoln Medal, an annual award given to people who have exemplified the character and legacy of the 16th president.

“I was honored to be part of such a special evening,” said Mrs. Trump, according to a White House press release. “Tonight reminds all of us about the power the arts have in cultivating the American voice. Thank you to Ford’s Theatre Society for tonight, and your continued dedication to education and leadership in the arts — the impact they have on society is invaluable and something we will continue to cherish throughout time.”

Sharing photos of her night out in the nation’s capital, the first lady wrote on Twitter, “Thank you @Fordstheatre & the talented performers for a special evening celebrating the arts & the legacy of former President Lincoln. Congratulations to @jacknicklaus & Sheila Johnson, the recipients of the Lincoln Medal!”

The gala performance was also attended by Vice President Mike Pence, Karen Pence and a number of dignitaries.

On Wednesday, Mrs. Trump joined her husband for her first public appearance in 27 days following a “successful” kidney procedure. President Trump began the briefing on hurricane preparedness at FEMA Headquarters by thanking his wife.

“She went through a little rough patch but she’s doing great,” he said. “The people of our country love you. Thank you, honey.”

The first lady stood solemnly beside her husband as he spoke, and pool reporters covering the event did not hear her speak. One reporter noted that Mrs. Trump, 48, was “looking well, like her old self, perfectly healthy from at least her outward appearance.”

As the president headed to Canada for the G7 summit on Friday without Mrs. Trump by his side, he assured reporters that the first lady is “doing great” — but can’t fly on doctors’ orders.

“She wanted to go,” he told reporters before boarding Marine One en route to Quebec. “Can’t fly for one month.”

President Trump landed in Singapore Sunday ahead of his sit-down with Kim Jong Un about Trump’s push for the nation to denuclearize. It’s set to be the first in-person encounter between a sitting U.S. president and a North Korean leader.

I am on my way to Singapore where we have a chance to achieve a truly wonderful result for North Korea and the World. It will certainly be an exciting day and I know that Kim Jong Un will work very hard to do something that has rarely been done before…Create peace and great prosperity for his land,” Trump said in a series of tweets. “I look forward to meeting him and have a feeling that this one-time opportunity will not be wasted!”

After the event, FLOTUS posted on her social media account about the event as well.

Not only were guests commenting on the First Lady’s kind words, they also noticed her sparkling gown! As usual, Melania’s timeless fashion sense was evident and her silver, navy, and white sparkly ensemble proved that yet again! –People

It’s a damn shame when the First Lady is living her life, and the media treats her like total trash. There are no standards left in media, and we see that. The media would have never treated the Obamas like this. If I recall, Michelle, and the kids were OFF LIMITS! Why isn’t Melania, and Barron off limits? The nasty things that have been said about little Barron Trump is disgusting. Sasha, and Malia would have never been treated like that.
