Outraged Mayor Has Had Enough – Orders All Citizens To Shoot On Site To End It For Good

Italy is slowly but surely losing its identity and its culture. Suffering from a significant influx illegal immigration, the famously boot-shaped country is struggling to simply cope. In 2016, more 181,000 migrants entered Italy, nearly all of them illegal, nearly all by sea. Geography makes the country a tempting target for seaborne illegal migrants. Then there is the fact that Italian territory actually reaches into North Africa with the small island of Lampedusa. With a population of just 6,000, it lies just 70 miles off the coast of Tunisia and 184 miles from Libya.

Business Insider reports that Italy has the fourth-largest Muslim population in Europe. Out of the 60 million people that call Italy home, 2.2 million are Muslims. That is roughly 4% of the population.

Italy also has a history with Muslim occupation. The Muslim presence in Sicily lasted nearly five centuries from 827 to 1300 and Islamists remember the era well. They want Sicily back as a coup of sorts. In fact, Rome as the seat of the Catholic Church with its influence and power represents a significant symbol of Islamist ire and ambition, making it a likely target of jihadi violence as a result.

The church’s current attempts at appeasement only add to the current issue as Pope Francis has established himself as a leading advocate of unimpeded migration and open borders. It could be said the problems currently facing Italy are much like the border crisis being endured by Americans on their Southern border as men, women, children, traffickers, cartel, and families alike trek from Central America and Mexico up over the Rio Grande and into the United States.

Much in the way many states and individual cities have stood up to Washington saying “NO MORE!” as wave after wave after wave of unvetted migrants illegally invades the borders of the United States. Mayor of the tourist hot spot of Venice, Italy, Luigi Brugnaro has done the same. He is taking no chances with Islamic terrorists launching an attack on his city, taking his position to care for the public safety very seriously.

Brugnaro issued a formal warning to anyone caught yelling the words “Allahu Akbar” on the streets of Venice would be shot. The words “Allahu Akbar” mean literally “God is the greatest” and is a phrase well known for its common use as a battle cry in Islamist extremism and Islamist terrorism.

Brugnaro made the announcement at a summer think tank, stating – “Anyone who shouts ‘Allahu Akbar’ in St Mark’s Square can expect to be gunned down by snipers within four paces. We need to increase our security when it comes to terrorism. We had four would-be terrorists arrested in Venice a few months ago who wanted to blow up the Rialto bridge. They said they wanted to go and meet Allah so we will send them straight to Allah without having to throw them off the bridge. We will just shoot them.”

Naturally, with Pope Francis and other political leaders attempting to appease the current illegal migrant influx, Brugnaro’s words were considered quite controversial. However, he has stated he is unconcerned with what people think of his controversial announcement. He offered as the explanation – “I have never been politically correct, I am incorrect. I would shoot, we would shoot.”

Yet in America, there has been virtually a non-stop media barrage over the separation of immigrant parents and their children at the border, a process started by current President Donald Trump’s predecessors. Yet the leftist progressives and open borders proponents have not ceased in their Twitter tirades, protests, and spewing of virulent hatred for any that attempt to defend his administration’s new “zero tolerance” policy of enforcing rules created and enforced under the Bush and Obama administrations.  Instead, the left makes comparisons to “internment camps.”

President Trump has repeatedly defended his strong stance on illegal immigration stating the U.S. would not be a “migrant camp” while defending his administration’s approach to border control. “The United States will not be a migrant camp and it will not be a refugee holding facility. You look at what’s happening in Europe,” he continued, “you look at what’s happening in other places – we can’t allow that to happen to the United States. Not on my watch.”

The left has laser-focused on the “zero tolerance” policy announced earlier this year by Attorney General Jeff Sessions. The separations are the result of the administration’s “zero tolerance” immigration policy, which aims to prosecute all illegal border crossers. But because of a 1997 order and related decisions, children cannot be detained for longer than 20 days with the adults. However, what the left is utterly and completely tone deaf on is that up to 80% of migrant children are arriving WITHOUT parents. That is where the so-called “separating families” argument begins to unravel.

The firestorm began to ramp up several weeks ago when photographs of “caged” migrant children began to circulate on social media attributing them to the Trump administration – except the photos were from 2014 during the Obama administration. Yet as they often do, the left persisted in pushing their fictional narrative.

Former First Ladies Laura Bush and Michelle Obama joined together to criticize the Trump administration.  Many quickly denounced their abject hypocrisy noting these policies were passed into law and enacted by their husbands. Then there was Hillary Clinton in 2014 saying whatever is expedient as usual suggesting “just because your child gets across the border, that doesn’t mean the child gets to stay.”

Meanwhile, Politico reports President Trump just signed an executive order titled “Affording Congress an Opportunity to Address Family Separation” to keep illegal immigrant families together at the border, while stating that his administration’s “zero-tolerance” policy of enforcing Bush-era immigration laws will continue.

The executive action would follow days of escalating calls from both sides of the political divide for Trump, or Congress, to end the controversial family separation policy. He stated of the E.O. – “We’re going to have strong, very strong borders, but we’re going to keep the families together. I didn’t like the sight or the feeling of families being separated.”

President Trump stated he is hopeful his action will be “matched by legislation,” while also committing to “get the wall done” during his comments.

Fox News reports – the action under consideration would allow children to stay in detention with parents for an extended period of time. “Sources told Fox News that the executive action by Trump could be seen to run afoul of the 1997 order and would likely draw a lawsuit. But the White House wants to try to take steps to uphold the enforcement of the law, while at the same time lessening the trauma of children being separated from their parents.

In another possible approach, Fox News is told Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen will recommend to Trump that he throws his support behind developing House legislation or, if that doesn’t pass, a standalone bill to close the ‘loopholes’ regarding family detention. During the order-signing, Nielsen again called on Congress to act.”
