Restaurant Hits Back Hard At Angry Libs’ Complaints With Big Billboard Message – Sets Record Straight

A PETA billboard went up in Maryland to encourage people to go vegan and stop eating animals, mostly crabs in this location. It failed miserably and the local crab shack named Jimmy’s Famous Seafood in Baltimore put up their own billboard with a much better message. The “go vegan” billboard being tossed up in a town who loves their Maryland crabs was probably the worst idea that PETA could do.

When Jimmy’s fired back, they struck Internet gold as they also went a bit viral with their Twitter account racking up the retweets.

Jimmy’s message was simple: “SteaMEd crabs. Here to stay. Get famous.” It was reported that the “ME” part was a direct hit on PETA’s billboard, which said, “I’m ME, Not MEAT. See the individual. Go vegan,” which was posted next to a blue crab, the type seafood fans love to smother in Old Bay seasoning. There are a few other seasonings out there that are just as good, don’t get mad that I picked Old Bay!

A man named Johnn Minadakis from Jimmy’s Famous Seafood wasn’t happy with the PETA billboard because it was placed before the town had their famous Baltimore Seafood Festival. To him, it seemed like a direct hit and something that could harm business, although that’s actually more likely to make more people come out to eat the seafood.

He said “As small business owners, we felt compelled to defend our history and livelihood from this unprovoked attack… My father built this landmark with his bare hands. Our family was raised in this business, and literally grew up on the second floor of the building.”

He continued, telling Fox News that it’s like PETA has a “blank checkbook” and then it’s like they try putting “countless Americans out of work” and “targeting industries from coast to coast.”

PETA defended their marketing blunder. Their vice president, Tracy Reiman stated:

“No compassionate person would boil an animal alive. Just like humans, crabs feel pain and experience fear, have unique personalities and value their own lives, but a PETA investigation has shown that they endure agonizing deaths in order to be used for dinner — so if PETA’s billboard encouraged even one Baltimorean to view these complex crustaceans as individuals and go vegan, then it worked like a charm in our mind…”

Minadakis didn’t care much what she had to say. Probably because she’s not the person feeding families and she’s one of those bizarre PETA reps who forgets about the food chain.

He stated: “Maryland’s backbone is the crab industry, and we were not going to sit idly on the sidelines while they attempted to cripple the local economy. We rolled up our sleeves, got to work, saved up our money, and erected the billboard. We will not be bullied into submission by PETA.”

There we have it, folks. PETA strikes again and gets made to look silly. People love eating and PETA is not going to change their habits because of a billboard. If anything, PETA just made more people angry by posting their silly signs and now even more animals will be eaten by humans.

Can we thank PETA for every crab that gets boiled, steamed, or grilled in Maryland?

FBI Arrests Muslim ‘Refugee’ in Tucson Moments Before It Was Tragically Too Late

* By

This is another reason why we need the wall. What’s even scarier is when you have radical leftists stealing elections. Like Kyrsten Sinema who is for open borders.

I have a feeling we are going to see more of this to come.

From PJ Media:

The FBI arrested 30-year-old Ahmad Suhad Ahmad in Tucson, Arizona, last week following a two-year investigation.

According to the limited information contained in the two-page criminal complaint, Ahmad had told a confidential source in December 2016 that he knew how to detonate a bomb using a cell phone — a technique he said he learned during the war in Iraq.

In April 2017, the same confidential source asked Ahmad if he knew how to make a car bomb for a target in Mexico, and if he could show him how to build one. Ahmad agreed.

A week later Ahmad showed the source an image on his cell phone of explosive materials and instructions written in Arabic, which he promised to translate into English. He also met with other sources and undercover FBI agents about planning to build the bomb.

On April 26, 2017, Ahmad traveled with the sources and the FBI undercover agents to an apartment complex in Las Vegas. He brought with him a number of items to build the bomb, including a circuit tester, electrical tape, and Permatex epoxy. The undercover agents also brought items from a list provided by Ahmad.

Over the course of several hours, he built the bomb and explained to the others how to do it. He showed one of the agents where to place the blasting caps and the explosives.

He then supervised the building of a second device. Once completed, he explained how the bombs operated.

Neighbors expressed surprise at his arrest:

Local media reports indicate that in November 2017, Ahmad, who operated a mechanic shop, was arrested for heroin possession and intent to distribute. He was released early as part of a drug-offender transition program on September 28.

Ahmad was born in Baghdad, Iraq, in 1988. His family fled to Syria when he was 18, and subsequently moved to Tucson as refugees. The FBI criminal complaint identifies Ahmad as a U.S. citizen.

This is the third arrest of an Iraqi refugee in a week.

As I reported earlier, 34-year-old Ashraf al-Safoo was arrested near Chicago and charged with running a pro-ISIS propaganda ring. According to the Justice Department, al-Safoo took orders directly from ISIS officials. Through social media, he spread propaganda on behalf of the terror group, helping ISIS to recruit and encouraging supporters to conduct terror attacks. He was born in Mosul, Iraq. and moved to the U.S. in 2008, and later became a naturalized U.S. citizen.

And last Wednesday, 19-year-old Naser Almadaoji of Beavercreek, Ohio, was arrested at Columbus International Airport attempting to fly to Kazakhstan, where he planned to cross the border into Afghanistan to join the ISIS affiliate there. The U.S. attorney responsible for the case said Almadaoji came to the U.S. from Iraq about a decade ago.

As noted by the 9/11 Commission Report, Tucson was the home of the first known American al-Qaeda cell, and is the former home of al-Qaeda co-founder Wael Julaidan — who was once the president of the Islamic Center of Tucson — as well as al-Qaeda operative Wadi al-Hage. Continue Reading

DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen Gave Nancy Pelosi Epic Revenge at Veterans Day Ceremony

* By

It’s amazing how the left acts like they care about children… the slaughter of the unborn.

They don’t care about immigrants. It’s all about the votes for them.

From Breitbart:

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi got a frosty reception at a Veterans Day ceremony at the Arlington National Cemetery on Sunday, where she was seated in the midst of Trump administration officials.

Pelosi was sandwiched among Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and Department of Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta. Behind Pelosi was the new acting Attorney General, Matthew G. Whitaker.

While Pelosi made small talk with Acosta, she was completely frozen out by Nielsen, according to cameras focused on the two. Each time Pelosi tilted her head towards Nielsen, Nielsen looked the other way. That lasted throughout the ceremony of about 40 minutes.

As for what may have caused the bad blood? Five months ago, Pelosi called on Nielsen to resign over the detention of migrant children. Pelosi tweeted on June 18:

[email protected] must resign. This is not an immigration issue, it is a humanitarian issue. Children are being used by the Trump Admin to create leverage, with a goal of passing Trump’s anti-immigrant agenda. I struggle to think of anything more barbaric. #FamiliesBelongTogether.”

Pelosi also attacked Whitaker on Friday, telling CBS’s Face the Nation that the president’s appointment of him did “violence to the Constitution” and that he should have have been appointed.

“He should recuse himself for any review of the investigation because of statements he has made already in the public domain,” she said in a preview of the interview.

“There is bipartisan editorializing about this that he should have never been appointed and it does violence to the Constitution and the vision of our founders to appoint such a person in such a manner to be the chief legal officer in our country,” she added.

Not surprisingly, Pelosi and Whitaker did not exchange any words either.

Pelosi is battling to become the leader of the House once again, despite challenges from within her own party. Almost 60 Democrat candidates said they would not vote for her for Speaker. The list of those who won election and oppose her speakership has now whittled down to about two dozen.

Those Democrats are calling for “new leadership,” and a desire to move the country “forward.”

“I am looking for someone who will return us to regular order – in procedure, and with legislation,” Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-NJ) said in a statement to NBC. “The institution is not working. Chairmen must be given their power back. … It’s time to turn the corner.”

Rep. Conor Lamb (D-PA) told the Pittsburg Post-Gazette in January: “I think we need new leadership on both sides.”

Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) told Roll Call in May he thought Americans wanted “new leadership in Washington, not just getting rid of Republicans but getting new leadership in the Democratic Party.”

“We need new leadership in Washington, on both sides of the aisle, and at every level, from first-term members to Congressional leadership, and for this reason, under no circumstances would I vote for Nancy Pelosi to again be Speaker of the House,” Abigail Spanberger (D-VA), who defeated Rep. Dave Brat (R-VA), said in a statement to NBC News.

“I won’t be supporting Nancy Pelosi…. I want new leadership to set up and move this country forward,” Jason Crow (D-CO) told the Denver Post in July.
