Because we all know what mainstream media is really about they just can’t seem to be able to leave it alone. This time they tried to get one of the best pro golfers in the world, Tiger Woods!
Total Pro Sports is reporting that over the weekend Tiger Woods made his best effort to stay out of trouble when asked about his relationship with President Trump.
Now keep in mind all Woods said is that we need to respect the office.
Here’s Tiger being asked about Trump.
Now don’t forget all this came about because a “reporter” said that people of color have felt threatened under Trump and his policies. To which Woods responded: “Well, he’s the president of the United States. You have to respect the office. No matter who is in the office, you may like, dislike personality or the politics, but we all must respect the office.” Of course, these common sense comments angered some of his supporters such as Max Kellerman and Stephen A. Smith who are the hosts in the video posted below.
The two co-hosts actually accused the 14-time majors winner of making a ‘stupid’ comment. With Stephen A. Smith actually going as far as stating that Tiger Woods isn’t Black.
Oh come on people. Tiger Woods is classy. He isn’t one of those ball tossers from the NFL who are still much part of the ghetto culture although they are worth millions. Woods said nothing wrong here and it’s about time everyone takes a step back and breathe.
If more people were like Tiger Woods our nation would be a lot better off than it is today. Since Woods knows he is a legend at golf, and because of this no one really cares to know his politics or what he thinks. Maybe those ignorant NFL players should think about following his lead?
Here is more on the Tiger Woods controversy via Yahoo Sports:
“After a week that saw tumultuous legal and political troubles for the president, as well as the death of Senate icon John McCain and yet another mass shooting, President Donald Trump began Monday by venturing back into a bit of morning-drive sports talk.
This time, Trump didn’t take a side on the Jordan-vs.-LeBron debate. Rather, he expressed gratitude on Twitter to both NFL legend Jim Brown and Tiger Woods for, respectively, praising and not actively criticizing him in recent days. Let’s take a closer look.
Trump on Jim Brown: ‘You get it’
Jim Brown’s one of the most mercurial and strong-willed personalities in NFL history, attacking ideas the same way he once attacked defensive lines. As a young man, he stood in solidarity with Muhammad Ali when Ali refused to go to Vietnam; in recent years, he’s spoken out against NFL protesters. Last week, he mounted a full-throated defense of Trump on the syndicated JT The Brick radio show:
“I should be criticizing Trump on every level because he does certain things that call for criticism, but when I look at television I see all these announcers become experts and they’re pointing the fingers and they’re not doing a doggone thing but pointing their fingers, I find myself really pulling for the president,” Brown said. “Now, that would make me very unpopular in the black community, very unpopular with a lot of Americans … but I think that there are certain good things that are coming out of this presidency because we’ve never seen anything like it.”
Although Brown said he voted for Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, he met with Trump shortly after the election and came away impressed. What that has to do with African-American employment is unclear, but Trump is correct; the unemployment rate for African-Americans is currently at its lowest point since the Bureau of Labor Statistics began tracking it in 1972.
Trump on Tiger Woods: ‘He is very smart’
Over the weekend, Woods finished well off the lead at the Northern Trust Open. Woods has studiously stayed out of political matters, largely confining his political contacts to rounds of presidential golf. He and Trump have long been friendly through Trump’s golf course ownership, and after his round Sunday, a reporter decided to venture into Trump territory:
“At times, especially 2018, I think a lot of people, especially immigrants are threatened by him and his policy — what do you say to people who might find it interesting that you have a friendly relationship with him?”
“Well, he’s the President of the United States,” Woods replied. “You have to respect the office. No matter who is in the office, you may like, dislike personality or the politics, but we all must respect the office.”
Again, Trump noticed:
Despite what the president is trying to assert here, the question asked of Woods was a valid one; Trump is, by even the most generous estimation, a divisive president, and any public figures aligning themselves with him (yes, yes, or with any president before him) deserve the question of how much of the president’s policies they endorse.
Granted, you can quibble with the timing of the question; Woods shot down a clumsy follow-up attempt, an overly broad question about race relations, by saying he’d just finished 72 holes of golf and wanted to get something to eat. That was probably wise; it’s tough to navigate current political waters with months of preparation, much less right after walking off a golf course.
As for what Woods “didn’t want to say”: well, if you’re looking to divine something from Woods’ bland different-strokes-for-different-folks words, it’s worth noting that he did speak at President Obama’s first inauguration.
(We’ll also scream this bit of commentary into the void: regardless of what you think of media as a whole, calling sports media “Fake News” is just absurd. Woods’ news conferences are broadcast and recorded, there for anyone to see on their own. And you can’t “fake” sports news; no matter how much the media might want, say, a Tiger Woods victory, the media can’t manufacture the 15 strokes out of thin air that Woods would need to win.)
So there you go. We look forward to the president’s breakdown of the baseball pennant race and preseason Super Bowl picks later this week.”
Americans Send Emmys a Ruthless Message After They Mock Christians and Conservatives
It appears that Hollywood just won’t get it. They are celebrities so that they can entertain. Yet, they continue to act like people will tune into them for their political opinion and rather ridiculous swipes at the right. It appears they never got the memo…. “do not bite the hand that feeds you.”
Last years’ Emmys show wasn’t even an awards show at all, it was more like a Trump roasting session. America didn’t appreciate it at all, and the ratings reflected that. This year, although there were fewer shots at President Donald Trump himself, it was still a very liberal theme for their ‘not funny’ jokes and plenty of aggressive hits at ‘white people’, ‘Republicans’, and anything of the like.
The opening monologue itself was a full-on cringe festival. So awkward. So NOT funny, not even a little bit. It was hosted by Michael Che and Colin Jost and they bombed it. Even by Hollywood standards.
Wow! Ratings for last nite's Emmys hit an all-time record low. How could that be? TV is losing middle America is one reason. The punch lines may have have been funny (some of the jokes were flat). But this one-sided approach, beating up one political target, is a loser's game.

Jost went on about a few shows that were canceled and then that were picked up by other networks. He then made a disgusting comment about Rosanne Barr’s show also getting picked up by “white nationalists.”
Jost also had the audacity or ‘stupid’ to imply that in today’s America there are some Americans that do not think Nazis are evil. Another non-joke that fell flat. However, probably one of his worst attempts at throwing shade was his comment on President Obama, Netflix, and President Trump.
“The Obamas now even have their own production deal at Netflix,” Jost said. “My dream is that the only thing they produce is their own version of ‘The Apprentice.’ And it gets way higher ratings.”
Yes, he literally ranted on just like a butthurt schoolyard kid who cries after he gets hit by the kid he tried to bully just moments before. Oh Jost, please take a seat, or go cry yourself to sleep.
Michael Che didn’t do any better. In fact, he may have been the bigger failure of the two, if that is possible. He took things further and used his mother in his attempt to spread hate. Who does that?! This guy does.
“She says she doesn’t like watching white award shows because you guys don’t thank Jesus enough,” Che said. “That’s true. The only white people that thank Jesus are Republicans and ex-crackheads.”
Sorry, but what’s the point of that ‘joke’? He lost me at ‘white award shows’, mostly because he’s black and the host. Sooooo… what again?
Can't we just enjoy the Emmy without acting political? Why would an award winner tell the audience to #GoBlue? Are we so dumb not to know which party to vote? Enough of this foolishness. Hollywood hasn't learnt Anything yet.

You would think the show couldn’t get any worse, but just wait, it totally does. Jennifer Lewis who is an actress, I guess, showed up to the awards show wearing a Nike sweatshirt because what is a liberal actress without an attempt at scoring more attention for a cause that she probably doesn’t even fully understand. So lame.
Of course, she says her choice of attire was “to applaud them for supporting Colin Kaepernick.” Yay! Let’s all applaud Nike then for setting their future on fire.
Needless to say, last year’s ratings for the show dropped substantially, but this year’s dropped even lower! A full 10% lower than last year’s to be exact.
“In the final numbers, last year’s Emmys snared 11.8 million viewers and a 2.5 rating among adults 18-49. That translated into matching the previous viewership low of the Jimmy Kimmel-hosted 2016 Emmys and a new low among the key demographic. Those record lows, based on the first set of numbers we are looking at today, appear very likely to be eclipsed this year.
“Even in a small-screen environment where the likes of the Academy Awards and the Grammys have experienced up to 20% ratings drops of late, the early numbers for the Emmys are surprising.
“It’s clear that people have just had enough.”
From Fox News:
“Conservative strategist Chris Barron told Fox News that “large swaths of the American public just want to be entertained” but instead were turned into “unwilling participants” in a political rally disguised as an awards show.”
“Whether it’s the NFL or the Emmys, people desperately want a break from politics. It’s amazing to me at just how tone-deaf Hollywood is,” Barron said.”
“Most Republicans have stopped watching awards shows or know that even if they can stomach it, the White House and their core values will be attacked. I kept thinking last night, thank goodness for a few actors like Chris Pratt, who buck the trend and show a healthy respect and love for Christianity in acceptance speeches,” Fox Nation host Britt McHenry said. “Reverence for God is something to cherish and uphold, not ridicule.’”
It’s no surprise, right? Hollywood has been in the business of patting themselves on the back for years already, and now since they want to also be nasty about it, Americans are learning they are the hand that feeds Hollywood and they are tired of getting bit!
Do you happen to be one of those Americans?
Actress Sent Sick Message To Trump Supporters Across Her Chest At Emmys – Backfired Gloriously
I did not watch the Emmys this year and I was evidently joined by millions of Americans. I knew it would be a bash-fest against President Trump. The last thing I want to do after working all day is watch a bunch of self-important celebrities get their hate on for the president and our country. It appears I made a wise choice.
“Black-ish” actress Jenifer Lewis decided to make a statement by wearing a Nike metal-studded swoosh sweatshirt on the Emmys’ new gold carpet Monday night. It was obviously a sick and twisted message meant for President Trump and his supporters but it fell flat.
I’m sure she was standing in solidarity with Nike who chose the former quarterback and current social justice warrior Colin Kaepernick as the company’s new face for their “Just Do It” ad campaign.
Lewis wore a red-and-black sweatshirt with Nike emblazoned on her chest. She accented her black leggings and black-and-white pattern boots with a diamond bracelet and ring. If you ask me, that’s not exactly ‘down’ with the oppressed, if you get my drift.
Lewis claimed that she wore Nike “in support of Colin Kaepernick’s protest against police brutality and racial injustice,” referring to the quarterback’s controversy after starting the whole kneeling controversy during the National Anthem at NFL games.
“I want to speak to the millennials today to let them know they are not alone when they speak out,” said the 61-year-old Lewis. “We are not living in dark times. We are living in awakening times, and I am proud to be one of the leaders in the movement.”
But what Lewis didn’t count on was how all of this vitriol would backfire at the Emmys. They hit an all-time low and in more ways than just the ratings. It backfired gloriously.
Politics was the issue of the evening on the red carpet for the Emmys this year. As you would expect, there were Nazi jokes and endless Trump-bashing. There were even a couple of jabs at Roseanne Barr. And the hypocrisy was deep. One black actor even showed up in white face. I thought that was a political no-no? Guess not.
The ratings for the 70th Emmy Awards plummeted by ten percent in early ratings from last year. Ouch. That broke the record with a 7.4 household rating according to The Wrap.
The Emmys are far from alone. This is the new trend for award shows. Actors and actresses seem to think these shows are leftist political platforms for the Hollywood elite. Americans are sick of hyper-political bloviating from elitists. Award shows used to be entertainment, now they are just disgusting. The 2018 Oscars dropped 16% over 2017, and the Grammys fell 20% over the previous year.
From The Daily Wire:
“Last year, the 69th annual Emmys on CBS hosted by Stephen Colbert dipped 2.4 percent from the prior year to a new low, per Nielsen’s household ratings,” The Wrap reported. “In 2016, the Jimmy Kimmel-hosted Emmys broadcast on ABC fetched an 8.4 in these earliest-available TV ratings, which had set a historic low of its own at the time.”
“The Emmys, hosted by Saturday Night Live’s Colin Jost and Michael Che, including jokes like this:
“The only white people who thank Jesus are Republicans and ex-crackheads.”
“The Emmys were first held in 1949 … things were very different back then: We all agreed that Nazis were bad.”
“Roseanne was canceled by herself and then picked up by white nationalists.’”
Even with all that, last night was NBC’s highest-rated Monday since late 2015. The network pretty much tripled the overnight rating of its closest competition, CBS, which posted a 2.5. NBC’s 7.4 topped the combined ratings of the rest of the Big 4 broadcast nets combined by 23 percent. Think about that. It means the viewership on the major networks is simply pathetic.
Last year, at the 69th annual Emmys on CBS hosted by Stephen Colbert, the awards show dipped 2.4 percent from the prior year to a new low, per Nielsen’s household ratings. The trend seems to be because of politicized comics. They just aren’t funny anymore.
The 70th annual Emmys was a who’s who of leftist celebrities who were mostly there to admire each other. That’s all they can do because nobody wants to watch them much anymore. America is just not that into Hollywood these days.
