A bill recently passed in the Senate is set to become a pivotal part of President Donald Trump’s education agenda, and one of the first signs that the administration is looking to tackle the complex world of education reform in the United States.

The passage of the bill, which works to refocus education policy back to career and technical education, was hailed by Republican Senator Lamar Alexander.

The bill, a reauthorization of the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 1984, has been reauthorized several times throughout its history. What makes it a cornerstone of the Trump Administration’s education policy is the combination of the reauthorization with the planned reorganization of executive branch departments that the administration is also working toward.

That restructuring includes combining the Department of Education with the Department of Labor, and to focus efforts on strengthening education efforts in the U.S. to emphasize career readiness education.

The Perkins Act has been a good thing for the American education system, but its effects aren’t quite as pronounced as they should be, given the country’s cultural insistence that a four-year academic degree is the way to go to be most employable. The result of this mentality has been to over-educate many students while raising the bar too high for others, and technical jobs suffer as a result.

If the Perkins Act and this executive branch restructure are both tied together to form an over-arching education agenda for the United States, then that would be a big policy win for Donald Trump’s administration… and the education of students in the United States in general.

WATCH: US Therapists See Increase in Patients With ‘Trump Anxiety Disorder’ – The Symptoms Are Great!

A ‘symptom’ is feeling as though the world is going to end.

Therapists in the U.S. say they have seen a rise in politically-related anxiety under the Trump presidency.

Though a condition has not been officially named, therapists and patients have referred to it as “Trump Anxiety Disorder,” according to a report from Canada’s CBC News.

Elisabeth LaMotte, the founder of the D.C. Counseling and Psychotherapy Center in Washington, D.C., told CBC that there is a “collective anxiety” among her patients related to President Trump’s rhetoric and policies.

“There is a fear of the world ending,” she said. “It’s very disorienting and constantly unsettling.”

She said that Trump critics whom she treats exhibit similar behavior to patients who have a parent with a personality disorder.

“Whether it’s conscious or not, I think we look to the president of the United States as a psychological parent,” LaMotte said.

LaMotte told CBC that the “condition” is also common among Trump supporters, who often say they feel “isolated” by friends and family for aligning with the president or pulled into angry conversations.

Steve Stosny, another D.C. therapist, told CBC that he worked with a Trump administration official whose liberal-leaning wife and daughter were “starting to hate him.” The couple eventually decided to divorce, even though the husband left his post.

“The wife couldn’t take it anymore,” Stosny said. “It’s tough when one spouse is at war with the children.”

Multiple therapists told CBC that they observed symptoms, including lack of sleep, excessive use of social media, feelings of losing control and helplessness, in their patients that they attributed to Trump-related anxiety.

National data indicates support for their findings.

The American Psychological Association (APA) found in a recent online survey that stress levels following the election are the highest they’ve been in a decade. And the majority of respondents reported stress over the 2016 election and the future of the nation as factors.

The APA also found a correlation between stress levels and electronic news consumption.

Therapists told CBC that in recent months, patients have indicated that separation of migrant families at the border, the retirement of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy and Trump’s various feuds with other world leaders have all been triggers for “Trump Anxiety Disorder.”

As the most reliable and balanced news aggregation service in the world, RWN offers the following information published by proven trustworthy military news source Task and Purpose.

Task and Purpose provides the following report on President Trump’s Military Parade cancellation and what he plans to do instead:

President Donald Trump has officially canceled his proposed military parade, originally scheduled for November 10, in a series of Friday morning tweets:

→The Department of Defense had previously announced on Thursday that the procession would be postponed until an undetermined date in 2019.

→ “The Department of Defense and White House have been planning a parade to honor America’s military veterans and commemorate the centennial of World War I,” Pentagon spokesman Col. Rob Manning said in a statement. “We originally targeted November 10, 2018 for this event but have now agreed to explore opportunities in 2019.”

→ The news came the same day that CNBC reported the estimated cost of the parade had ballooned by $80 million to a whopping $92 million. The proposed march would include approximately eight tanks and other armored vehicles such as Bradley Fighting Vehicles and Strykers and flyovers from a variety of military aircraft, all accompanying thousands of active-duty U.S. service members, per the report.

→ The CNBC report sparked frustration among veterans groups like the American Legion over the allocation of government money towards the procession through the streets of Washington, D.C. rather than other critical services for veterans.

→ “The American Legion appreciates that our President wants to show in a dramatic fashion our nation’s support for our troops,” American Legion National Commander Denise Rohan said in a statement. “However, until such time as we can celebrate victory in the War on Terrorism and bring our military home, we think the parade money would be better spent fully funding the Department of Veteran Affairs and giving our troops and their families the best care possible.”
