Trump’s Reaction To 9/11 As Private Citizen Says Everything About His Love For America

President Trump gave a very moving speech on 9/11 yesterday. It was the kind of heartfelt, patriotic speech we have not heard in many years. Trump was in New York City when 9/11 happened and it deeply moved him.

Trump’s reaction to the 9/11 terrorist attacks while he was still just a private citizen, says everything about his love for this country. After those horrific attacks on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001, Donald Trump campaigned to have the structures rebuilt with one major modification.

Long before Trump would stun the world and become President of the United States, he desperately wanted to rebuild the World Trade Center one story higher to rub the faces of the terrorists in the greatness of America. In 2005, Trump wanted to make a strong statement that would show our enemies that we would not back down as a nation.

President Trump ardently opposed the Freedom Tower that is now a fixture on the infamous Manhattan skyline. “If we rebuild the World Trade Center in the form of a skeleton — Freedom Tower — the terrorists win,” Trump said in a speech. And he was right. I feel that way and I bet a large part of America does too.

“It doesn’t represent what we want to have represented. What I want to see built is the World Trade Center stronger and maybe a story taller, and that’s what everybody wants … We should have the World Trade Center bigger and better” he said later in an interview. That is vintage Trump and that is the American spirit in a nutshell.

It took many years to even get the Freedom Tower built and that is not the American way. We built the Empire State Building in just over a year… there’s no excuse for taking this long to rebuild. And in the end, as Trump said, it should have been bigger and better. That’s the American way.

And even though Trump’s desires and statements on rebuilding the Twin Towers are out there, the media keeps saying that Trump lies about 9/11. If you listened to Trump’s speech yesterday, you know in your heart that Trump cares very deeply about what happened that day. Which is more than you can say for a number of Democrats and the media out there.

In 2015, Business Insider had this to say about Trump wanting to rebuild the towers:

“In the aftermath of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, which occurred 14 years ago Friday, real-estate mogul Donald Trump became the most prominent backer of a plan to rebuild Manhattan’s World Trade Center.
Trump, the current front-runner in the Republican presidential primary, lent his support to the effort in 2005. Among other things, he made media appearances during which he blasted the proposed Freedom Tower that was eventually built on the WTC site as “disgusting.”

“It doesn’t represent what we want to have represented. What I want to see built is the World Trade Center stronger and maybe a story taller, and that’s what everybody wants,” Trump said in an appearance on MSNBC. “It’s just terrible what’s happened in New York. … We should have the World Trade Center bigger and better.”

“The proposal to rebuild the Twin Towers, which were destroyed on 9/11, was the brainchild of structural engineer Ken Gardner. He created a plan to rebuild the buildings five stories higher with more modern safety features. Gardner’s proposal also included a 9/11 memorial, made with panels from the original towers.

“In an interview with Business Insider Friday, Gardner said Trump reached out to him after seeing his model for the project, which he dubbed “Twin Towers II.” Gardner had been discussing the plan on MSNBC and Trump encountered his model when he went on the channel for an unrelated interview.

“He just realized, like most of the public did at the time, that that was the solution,” Gardner said of Trump. “It was just based on, in Israel, whenever a building was destroyed by terrorists, they put it back. And in this case, since the building was as old as it was, we were putting it back, but a modern version of it.'”

That leaves no doubt about what President Trump wanted and what he thought would be the right course of action here. He wanted to make a bold statement that America can’t be defeated and comes back bigger and better every time. The Israelis and Trump have it right… our leftists have it dead wrong.

MASSIVE: Hillary In FULL PANIC As She’s Forced To Go Under Oath AGAIN

* By

Looks like Hillary Clinton is heading back to testify under oath once again about her use of a private email server while Secretary of State. She must be in a full panic over it too. A federal judge just ordered her to go back under oath. Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch was happy to share the decision in a tweet.

Clinton will have to answer questions on the setup up her email system. And this time, playing dumb isn’t going to cut it. The court also wants to know what she used the system for and what the purpose of the private email was. Also on the docket is how Clinton knew that her emails were available in the State Department during a 2015 testimony. More from Sarah Palin on this development:

Hillary Clinton is heading back under oath to testify about her use of a private email server in her capacity as Secretary of State, a federal judge ordered on Wednesday.

Tom Fitton, conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch’s president, shared the decision in a tweet after he left the federal courthouse.

“Breaking: Court rules late today Hillary Clinton must answer more email questions — including key q’s about the setting up of her email system,” Fitton said in a tweet.

As the Washington Examiner reports, Clinton will have to answer two main points of contention regarding the use of her private email system: the creation, use, and purpose for the private email; and, how Clinton was aware that her emails were available in the State Department during a 2015 testimony.

From the report:

The two questions Clinton will have to answer within 30 days, per Sullivan’s ruling are:

  • Describe the creation of the system, including who decided to create the system, the date it was decided to create the system, why it was created, who set it up, and when it became operational.
  • During your October 22, 2015 appearance before the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on Benghazi, you testified that 90 to 95 percent of your emails “were in the State’s system” and “if they wanted to see them, they would certainly have been able to do so.” Identify the basis for this statement, including all facts on which you relied in support of the statement, how and when you became aware of these facts, and, if you were made aware of these facts by or through another person, identify the person who made you aware of these facts.

Clinton’s email scandal consumed much of the 2016 presidential election and some conservatives have been unable to move on from what they perceived to be plainly illegal action. Republican Senator Lindsay Graham similarly said he would pursue an investigation into Clinton should he be given the Senate Judiciary Committee chairmanship.

Graham would only get the top spot should its current chairman, Senator Chuck Grassley surrender it. He could do so in seeking another chairmanship.

Also, from the Washington Examiner:

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said he would further investigate the Hillary Clinton email controversy should he become chairman of the Judiciary Committee next year.

Asked by CNN about whether he would pursue answers on the FBI-run emails inquiry as well as another FBI investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, Graham said “totally.”

“The oversight function will be very much front and center,” he added.

Graham’s rise to the chairmanship of the Judiciary Committee isn’t a sure thing; that will largely depend on whether current Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, will seek the top spot over in the Finance Committee.

Michelle Spills Devastating Secret About Barack And DESTROYS His ‘Perfect’ Image

* By

Michelle Obama just spilled the worst kept, devastating secret about her relationship with Barack. Evidently, there have been times when she questioned whether she should stay with him. There goes Obama’s ‘perfect’ image.

Michelle supposedly divulged this while on a publicity blitz for her upcoming memoir, “Becoming.” Frankly, most Americans aren’t surprised by this news in the least. Their marriage never seemed to be a close one with both of them taking separate vacations and only cuddling for photo-ops. The Hill has more on Michelle’s candid and pointedly timed remarks:

They’ve been married more than two decades, but Michelle Obama is revealing that at times she’s questioned whether she wanted to stay with former President Obama.

“Because we’re role models, it’s important for us to be honest and say, if you’re in a marriage and there are times you want to leave, that’s normal — because I felt that way,” Obama says in an interview with People published Monday, while recalling the couple’s visits with a marriage counselor.

The former first lady is on a publicity blitz ahead of the Tuesday release of her memoir, “Becoming.”

“My mother would talk about leaving my father in the spring when she’d do spring cleaning,” Obama tells People for the magazine’s Nov. 26 issue.

“There were definitely times when I wished things were different,” Obama, 54, said of her life with her husband, “but I don’t think I ever thought, ‘I’m just checking out of this.’”

The couple — who met while working at a Chicago law firm — tied the knot in 1992.

Obama revealed while promoting her book last week that she and the 57-year-old ex-commander in chief have been to marriage counseling before to “talk out our differences.”

“I know too many young couples who struggle and think somehow, there’s something wrong with them,” Obama said in an interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts. “I want them to know that Michelle and Barack Obama — who have a phenomenal marriage and who love each other — we work on our marriage and we get help with our marriage when we need it.”
