In the early morning hours of April 22nd, Travis Reinking charged into a Waffle House in Antioch, Tennessee and left lives forever changed. Some people would never go home again and some are still recovering. Some are just learning to cope, while another made an impossible choice to save lives and is being hailed a hero.
Reinking was found in an area behind an elementary school, Metro Nashville Police Department stated in a press conference soon after the capture. Thank goodness for a citizen calling a tip because officers from Nashville’s narcotics squad were able to capture Reinking in the woods. In a backpack, Reinking had a loaded semi-automatic g*n, flashlight, ammunition, and a Colorado identification card. Reinking was transported to a Metro Nashville police station where he declined to make a statement and immediately asked for a lawyer, police said. Reinking has been charged with 4 counts of m****r and had his $2 million dollar bond revoked

Reinking has a long history of run-ins with the law the law and it also seems he has a history of mental illness where he desperately needed help. Rather than the help he needed, it seems he had parents that enabled him and buried their heads in the sand content to ignore the signs that were glaringly obvious to anyone who was looking.
Travis Reinking, the Waffle House s******g suspect, was arrested in July outside the White House.
He told Secret Service twice he wanted to talk to President Trump. When told to leave, he took off his tie, balled it in a fist & told agents to arrest him.https://t.co/UEr5PFWEmE pic.twitter.com/o1PTFuFndz

A police report on the incident states Reinking approached the northeast pedestrian entrance to the White House and “stated he must get into The White House and speak with POTUS.” He was told how to obtain a tour. He stated again that he “wanted to speak to the President and said he was a sovereign citizen and has a right to inspect the grounds.” He allegedly took his tie off and balled it into his fist and walked past the security barriers stating, “Do what you need to do. Arrest me if you have to.”
According to the FBI, “Sovereign citizens are anti-government extremists who believe that even though they physically reside in this country, they are separate or ‘sovereign’ from the United States…As a result, they believe they don’t have to answer to any government authority, including courts, taxing entities, motor vehicle departments, or law enforcement.”
He was arrested for trespassing but the charges were later dismissed “after he completed community service.” The FBI requested his firearms be confiscated, which they briefly were before being returned to Reinking’s father, who promptly returned them to his son who clearly had clearly exhibited mental health issues on multiple occasions. This could mean potential legal trouble for Reinking’s father – Jeffery Reinking as well. As a result of his whole little self-guided White House tour his son had been barred from owning firearms.
His Illinois firearms authorization was revoked at the request of the FBI and four weapons were seized by local police in Illinois. Among the weapons seized was the A***5 rifle used at the Waffle House today.
According to the Tazewell County police department in Illinois, the g**s were returned by Tazewell County authorities to Reinking’s father, Jeffrey who has now acknowledged giving them back to his son and only two of the four g**s that were given back to Travis were unaccounted for. A rifle was recovered at Reinking’s apartment, and the A***5 was recovered at the Waffle House.
It turns out neither Travis nor Jeffery is not the only members of the Reinking family with questionable judgment. Mom Judy Reinking, post a meme to Facebook suggesting that the REAL cause of school shootings is the lack of prayer in school.
Except the incidents involving Travis date back to 2014 and before. In one police report from Tazewell, County dated August 2014, says that authorities were advised that Travis Reinking was allegedly “delusional and believed the famous entertainer Taylor Swift, was harassing him via stalking and hacking his phone.” He believed “everyone including his own family and the police are involved.”
The report states that his mother, father, and grandmother “were worried about Travis” so they called emergency services. The report clearly indicates – “They stated Travis has been having these delusions since August 2014.” Travis was accused of being “hostile towards police and does not recognize police authority. Travis also possesses several firearms.”
Yet Jeffery freely handed his son back the possession of several firearms KNOWING all of this.
Lack of prayer in school causes school shootings to occur? No, evil causes school shootings to occur and evil has been around since the garden. Never mind the first recorded school s******g known to occur was in Greencastle, Pennsylvania on July 26, 1764. According to Wikipedia – Enoch Brown school m******e – Perhaps the earliest s******g to happen on school or college property, in what would become the United States, was the notorious Enoch Brown school m******e during the Pontiac’s War. Four Delaware (Lenape) American Indians entered the schoolhouse near present-day Greencastle, Pennsylvania, and shot and k****d schoolmaster Enoch Brown and nine children (reports vary). Only two children survived. However, this incident may only incidentally be considered a school “s******g” because only the teacher was shot, while the other nine victims were k****d with melee weapons.
