Watch: CNN Analyst Starts Screaming ‘Get Out’ After Blunt Guest Starts Talking

Published

on

Government security clearances have become quite the hot topic of conversation and it has revealed just how little the average American knows about them. Most Americans were unaware that any ex-officials continued to hold clearances after they retired and the controversy has inevitably raised the question why that should be so.

For those that do not know, security clearances are for individuals who need access to classified information and that could be for a variety of reasons. Those individuals undergo a background check and their “personal and professional history affirmatively indicates loyalty to the United States, a strength of character, trustworthiness, honesty, reliability, discretion, and sound judgment,” according to an executive order pertaining to access to classified information.

Aside from allegiance to America, officials also look at sexual behavior, financial situations, alcohol and drug use, mental health and potential foreign influences when making the determination if a person will be granted a security clearance in a complex and detailed process. The form to be filled out requesting such a clearance is more than 100 pages in length, and investigators interview the individual applying as well as friends, family, and other references. Some agencies such as the CIA and FBI can also require individuals to sit for a polygraph test.

But also linked to that security clearance is a “need to know” in terms of what kind of information should or could be accessed.  For instance, this means if you are John Brennan and no longer working as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency you do not necessarily need to know anything about China’s spying on the United States. Or do you?

As Zero Hedge notes, “if you transition into a directorship or staff position of a major intelligence or security contractor, which many retirees do, you might need to retain the qualification for your job, which makes the clearance an essential component in the notorious revolving door whereby government officials transit to the private sector and then directly lobby their former colleagues to keep the flow of cash coming.

At top levels among the beltway bandit companies, where little work is actually done, some make the case that you have to remain “well informed” to function properly. The fact is that many top-level bureaucrats do retain their clearances for those nebulous reasons and also sometimes as a courtesy. Some have even received regular briefings from the CIA and the office of the Director of National intelligence even though they hold no government positions.”

It seems the topic of making money off of government security clearances was a source of much contention on Friday when CNN analyst and ex-CIA official Phillip Mudd railed at and publicly berated conservative commentator Paris Dennard. Mudd vehemently objected to Dennard’s assessment that security clearances are a gateway to making money for former government officials.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders originally made the point last month when discussing President Donald Trump’s intentions to review the security clearances of specific individuals and determine whether or not they were being exploited and abused.

The New York Times quotes Sanders, stating – “The president is exploring the mechanisms to remove security clearances because (some holders) politicized, and in some cases monetized, their public service and security clearances.”

Senator Rand Paul (KY-R) made a similar assessment.

Paul states in an op-ed for Breitbart

“Clear evidence concerning the bias of multiple, high-ranking current and former intelligence community officials should make us think twice about letting retired intelligence officials keep access to classified information, especially if they become talking heads on television after leaving public service.

There is a great danger that vital, secret details may be revealed on television, even inadvertently.

John Brennan is no stranger to this problem.

In 2012, John Brennan leaked information to former counter-terrorism officials, who retained a security clearance, about an underwear bomb-making plot in Yemen.

Brennan revealed to these former officials – turned talking heads – that the underwear bomb plot never threatened the U.S. “because Washington had ‘inside control’ over it,” according to Reuters.

After Brennan’s briefing, one of the call’s participants, Richard Clarke, went on ABC and broadcast the government implying that there was a Western spy inside the Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula bomb-making group.

John Brennan’s careless leak to former intelligence officials turned television commentators helped compromise an operation and risk the life of a double agent, and who knows what other objectives it also hindered or outright prevented. This is exactly why former intelligence officials who are now talking heads on television should not continue to have a security clearance.”

On August 15, 2018, President Trump revoked Brennan’s security clearance. Brennan has vowed to fight the revocation according to Fox News.

Dennard then appeared on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” on Friday making the same call – for clearances to be taken away from those who profit from them, stating –

“A lot of these people that have these security clearances, and this is the secret in the swampy Washington, D.C., they have them and they keep them because it’s profitable for them after they leave government, because if you a security clearance, especially high-level security clearance, your contracts and consulting gig pay you a lot more money because of the access that you have. I hope the president continues to do this, and I hope he adds Omarosa (Manigault Newman) to the list because if she has a clearance, she too because of her actions should have it revoked,” Dennard said.

Mudd almost immediately lost his temper, sputtering back defensively, stating – “Profitable, Paris? When I am required to sit on an advisory board, let me ask you one question, how much do you think I’m paid to do that at the request of the U.S. government? Give me one answer, and you’ve got 10 seconds? How much?”

Dennard did not concede an inch, responding that whatever the names, the end result was the same — money for former officials, stating – “Consultant and a contractor, the consulting firms that they form and you all get is because you get more money when having a consultant — for having the security clearance. Stop acting like that doesn’t happen.”

Mudd continued to grow ever angrier, stating sharply in response – “That is incorrect. I have zero consulting relationships with the U.S. government. Zero.”

Dennard attempted to clarify that he was speaking about the private sector, but Mudd was having none of it and cut him off.

“I have zero relationships with the private sector that involve my security clearance. Zero. Zero. I get zero dollars from consulting companies that deal with the U.S. government. Are we clear?” Mudd said.

However, Dennard refused to be cowed or silenced, stating – “Well, he will be clear in saying that everybody in Washington, D.C. knows — if you don’t want to be honest about it, that’s on you — but if you have a security clearance and you keep it, you get more money to have it.”

Mudd promptly flipped out, yelling at Dennard – “We’re done. We’re done. Get out!”

Dennard managed to deliver a parting blow, getting the last word. “Don’t be so defensive about this,” Dennard told Mudd. “Your voice is still here. You can still do whatever you want. But the politicization of the intelligence community under this administration with the people coming on here every day tweeting and talking about this administration, you all have made it about politics, not the president.”

Kavanaugh’s Family In Fear Of Their Lives After Sick Attack – US Marshals Show Up To Help

Well this isn’t cool at all. Since Christine Blasey Ford has come forward with her accusations against President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Brett Kavanaugh, both of them and each of their families have received multiple death threats, and its’ been pretty scary for them. Of course, sadly in the world we live in today, it seems this reaction is to be expected. However, what is absolutely NOT cool, is the fact that ABC’s World News Tonight painted a one sided picture to put on blast to their viewers, and it was all about poor Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and all the awful, horrid things that people were threatening her with, and shame on everyone for attacking her, etc etc…

Absolutely NO mention of the wicked opposition Kavanaugh and his family are facing at all. The thing is, at the end of the day, are we really going to be so numb to human suffering? Is ABC’s World News Tonight really going to take it that far and ignore the truth, just to cast a light towards their own agenda?

Of course they are. So we’re going to be the bigger person, and fill in all the blanks they so shamelessly created.

This is what is happening now folks. As said earlier, both members of this conflict are receiving multiple death threats against them personally and the members of their family. Here’s a little of what ABC and NBC reported already:

“Dr. Christine Blasey Ford longer holding out for an FBI investigation into her claims before she testifies, saying she will answer questions, but asking for certain conditions, including her safety,” announced anchor David Muir at the top of the program.”

“As congressional correspondent Mary Bruce began her very pro-Ford report, she noted the threats made against the accuser:

“In an e-mail to the Senate Judiciary Committee, Ford’s lawyer writing, “She wishes to testify, provided that we can agree on terms that are fair and which ensure her safety.” Ford and her children have been forced to leave their home to escape harassment, even death threats.”

Now, in direct opposite of ABC’s reporting surprisingly both CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News did make time, a few seconds at least, to mention the death threats that Kavanaugh and his family are receiving too.

“CBS News has confirmed that he and his wife have received multiple death threats, and that the U.S. Marshals are now investigating,” reported CBS congressional correspondent Nancy Cordes.”

“Kavanaugh and his family have also received threats and hateful e-mails. But the source tonight saying, Kavanaugh remains determined and hopeful,” noted NBC White House correspondent Peter Alexander.”

The moment Kavanaugh became a nominee for the Supreme court, he and his family became a target for threats. However, since Blasey has come forward to make the accusations against him, things have take an even more scarier turn. The death threats against Kavanaugh and his family have become so real at this point that now even the U.S. Marshals have gotten themselves involved and are investigating the whole situation. So far they have confirmed the threats to be real through a senior administration official at the White house. This administration official was not authorized to speak publicly and so only agreed to disclose this information on condition of anonymity.

“The official says the threats were made in emails to Kavanaugh’s wife, Ashley, and came from one person. The one being investigated uses vulgar language and suggests violence.”

“A protective detail of U.S. Marshals is protecting Kavanaugh and his family, according to a law enforcement source. “The threats are real, they were directed at his wife, and that’s serious stuff. And they’ve heightened in recent days,” a White House official told CBS News.”

“Kavanaugh, who is married with two daughters, has received around-the-clock protection from US Marshals since President Donald Trump nominated him to the bench in July. Negotiations are ongoing for a possible public hearing next week with Kavanaugh and Ford.”

“Kavanaugh’s wife Ashley is the town manager of the area of Chevy Chase, Maryland, where they live. She has also been harassed, receiving multiple graphic emails from her husband’s critics since he was accused of assault. In one email received Tuesday, an Internet user wrote “Hi Ashley” in the subject line.”

As for Blasey, she has expressed that she would testify, but told her attorney that Monday is far too soon. Her attorney also revealed that Blasey has been “forced” to leave her home due to the threats that have been made towards her and her family. There is a variation of opinion chiming in from Americans. Some think Blasey should have known the can of worms she was opening up and shouldn’t be so shocked over the threats that she is now receiving or making a big fuss about having to leave her home. Others are saying none of that matters, at the end of the day she is human and has every right to be upset over the threats.

Keith Ellison Accuser Posts Doctor’s Note PROOF; Media SILENT

Published

on

DNC Vice Chair Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) is no stranger to controversy. He is an uber-liberal that has found himself in political hot water more than once. But one thing that the Democrats are very good at is closing ranks. Even if they have to sacrifice one of their own to do it. After all, Ellison is now running for Attorney General in Minnesota.

While Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is being smeared and splashed all over the media, there is another far more credible #MeToo moment playing out in front of us and it is in the Democratic Party. Keith Ellison is being accused of assault and abuse and the Dems aren’t listening to or believing the woman leveling the charges even though she has records to back up her claims.

There is no foggy memory or bleary facts in this scenario. Karen Monahan has no trouble at all being very specific over the alleged abuse from Keith Ellison. Monahan, an environmental activist, and Ellison’s former girlfriend has claimed Ellison emotionally abused her and, at least once, physically abused her.

The Democrats are not standing by her at all either. They actually are turning on this woman. It’s breathtaking hypocrisy at play and it is being almost entirely ignored by the media.

From The Hill:

“I’ve been smeared, threatened, isolated from my own party,” Monahan tweeted. “I provided medical records from 2017, stating on two different Dr. Visits, I told them about the abuse and who did it. My therapist released records stating I have been dealing [with] and healing from the abuse.”

“Four people, including my supervisor at the time, stated that I came to them after and shared the exact story I shared publicly, I shared multiple texts between me and Keith, where I discuss the abuse with him and much more,” she wrote. “As I said before, I knew I wouldn’t be believed.”

“She wrote that coming forward was a “huge piece of my healing.” Monahan in the tweets tagged the Democratic National Committee and the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party.”

This is a woman who told her physician about the abuse in 2012. She even produced the doctor’s report as evidence and brought it forth as proof just to show consistency in her prior accounts of the situation. Crickets from the media.

From The Daily Caller:

“She states that she was in a very stressful environment for years, emotional and physical abuse by a partner with whom she is now separated,” reads the November 2017 report, a picture of which Monahan posted on Twitter.

“She did not have any physical injuries that required an examination in the past. She identifies the individual she was involved with as Congressman Ellison, and she is worried about retribution if she identifies him publicly,” the report states.

“Monahan’s son Austin Aslim Monahan first aired the allegations against Ellison on Aug. 11 and claimed to have seen evidence of Ellison’s abuse.

“I was using my moms computer trying to download something and I clicked on a file, I found over 100 text and twitters messages and video almost 2 min long that showed Keith Ellison dragging my mama off the bed by her feet, screaming and calling her a ‘f*cking b*tch’ and telling her to get the f*ck out of his house,” he wrote in a viral Facebook post.

“Monahan’s son added:

“Sitting all this time, watching what our mom went through and not being able to say or do anything was hard as hell. None of you know the hell our family has gone through. I don’t think half of you would even care. We watched her so-called political friends stand by say or do nothing. People had an idea what happened and never reached out to my mom. The same people who are posting about social justice are ready to smear my mom, protect a person who abused her and broke the law.”

“Monahan has yet to produce the alleged video, which Ellison has said doesn’t exist.”

Unlike the woman accusing Kavanaugh, this sounds very credible and specific. This also isn’t the first time that Ellison has been accused of abuse. Back in 2005, Amy Alexader, who was another girlfriend of Ellison’s, alleged abuse by Ellison. There was also a 911 report backing that up.

The DNC, of course, said in August that they were “reviewing” the allegations. In other words, they did nothing and buried it, hoping it would all blow over. The Democratic Party has continued to stand by Ellison in his position and in his run for Attorney General. They simply cannot afford to lose him on their roster. They are that desperate. Ellison continues to deny all charges.

Monahan has said that she is willing to cooperate with any investigation. “I told the investigator I would be happy to talk with @keithellison [with] them in the room. They asked Keith if he would be willing [and] he declined any meeting [with] me,” Monahan said. I’m not surprised by that in the least and I’m sure Ellison has the DNC attorney on speed-dial these days just in case.

Instead of this unfounded witch hunt against Kavanaugh, I think that Ellison’s clear record of alleged abuse should be front and center. Fight fire with fire. If Kavanaugh can be baselessly disparaged by the left at the eleventh hour of his confirmation, then fire both barrels at Ellison who certainly has the appearance of guilt here. What’s good for the political goose is good for the political gander.
