WATCH: Dem Senator Who Lied About Military Service Just Attacked Kavanaugh With Nasty New Claim

Published

on

I am not a fan of Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT). He did not disappoint me in the least when it came to the nomination process of Judge Brett Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court. His tactics and attitude are every bit as dishonest and vile as I would expect. Self-awareness is not Blumenthal’s strong suit.

Last week, sandwiched in between two other senators, Blumenthal stated that Kavanaugh should withdraw from the nomination process because, and I quote, “The bar here is not whether you have not criminally assaulted someone; it’s credibility, trust, integrity.” Which Democrats such as Blumenthal would find lacking in virtually any Republican out there. Blumenthal also described Kavanaugh as “evasive” and “seemingly misleading.”

Mind you, this is a man who lied about his military service and is now attacking a judge with a spotless record who is now besieged by baseless claims from 36 years ago by a woman who can’t recall the year it happened, where it happened, when it happened, who hosted the party, who was there, who brought her or who took her home. Her credibility is swiss cheese.

Forget innocent till proven guilty. The very fact that anyone said anything adverse about you as a Republican should make you slink away with your tail between your legs never to be heard from again according to the left. This evidence-free standard that Blumenthal is demanding is hypocritical in the extreme.

He also went on to say that, because of these allegations, “This nomination will not only cast a shadow over Judge Kavanaugh if he were ever to be confirmed … it will also stain the United States Supreme Court irreparably.” Just as they claimed Clarence Thomas would do. What dishonest hogwash.

Blumenthal, a former federal prosecutor, and state attorney general earlier said he is pressing for a full investigation by the FBI into the charges levied against Kavanaugh. “Otherwise we will be shooting in the dark,’’ Blumenthal said. Shoot away senator because the FBI is not going to investigate.

Let’s go back all the way to 2010 when Blumenthal picked up his Senate seat. It was all over the place that he lied about his military service in the Vietnam War. He claimed he was in combat, but in reality, he got a series of deferments from 1965 to 1970 and then joined a reserve unit. That all but guaranteed he wouldn’t see combat and he remained stateside conducting drills and organizing a Toys for Tots drive instead.

So, let me get this straight. Blumenthal allegedly lied about his military service to get into office but he has the nerve to tell everyone that Brett Kavanaugh doesn’t meet his standards for “credibility, trust, integrity” because he denies a single unproven claim of misconduct in high school. Blumenthal has no qualms about destroying Kavanaugh over unfounded claims and allegations. But then again, look how he got elected.

The overwhelming majority of Democrats, including Blumenthal, have voiced their opposition to Kavanaugh’s nomination. Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI), a fellow member of the Judiciary Committee, quipped that Democrats would be “delighted” if Kavanaugh’s nomination was withdrawn. You bet they would. This is all a delay tactic borne of obstructionism.

Blumenthal stated from the get-go that he would not vote for Kavanaugh. His questioning during the nomination of Kavanaugh centered around abortion and was very confrontational and rude.

From the CT Mirror over Kavanaugh’s nomination:

“Blumenthal said the dissent in the Garza case – in which Kavanaugh said his colleagues on the bench had decided “that unlawful immigrant minors have a right to immediate abortion on demand” — was a coded message to the White House. Blumenthal said the phrase “abortion on demand” is used by “the anti-abortion community to refer to repeal of Roe v. Wade.”

“Blumenthal said Kavanaugh wanted to make clear he could pass the “litmus test” President Donald Trump used in seeking a new Supreme Court justice — someone who would give the high court the majority needed to overturn Roe v. Wade.

“Kavanaugh said that was not the case. He said he was chosen to fill the seat of retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy because “various people said I should be considered,” including White House Counsel Don McGahn who sat behind Kavanaugh as the nominee was in the hot seat for more than 10 hours Wednesday.

“I appreciated their support,” Kavanaugh said of those White House staffers.

“Kavanaugh also said the teen’s age in the Garza case was critical to his ruling and that the Supreme Court has upheld parental consent laws that can delay abortions.

“Blumenthal also tried to wrest a commitment from Kavanaugh to recuse himself from any Supreme Court cases involving Trump’s potential criminal or civil liability. Blumenthal said it would be a conflict of interest for Kavanaugh to rule in a case directly affecting the president who named him to the high court.

“We’re in uncharted territory,” Blumenthal said.

“Kavanaugh refused to make any commitment, saying it would undermine his independence as a judge to say whether he would recuse himself.

“Blumenthal said he was “troubled and disturbed” by Kavanaugh’s response.”

And there was much, much more after that. Blumenthal is going all out to block Kavanaugh. Self-awareness and ethics be damned.

President Trump Announced How He Just Got Mexico To Pay For The Wall

When President Trump said he would have Mexico pay for the wall on our southern border, he meant it. He just announced how they are going to do it too… through the USMCA (the revision of NAFTA). Which I suspect was the plan all along.

Very early this morning at about 4:38 am, Trump tweeted: “I often stated, “One way or the other, Mexico is going to pay for the Wall.” This has never changed. Our new deal with Mexico (and Canada), the USMCA, is so much better than the old, very costly & anti-USA NAFTA deal, that just by the money we save, MEXICO IS PAYING FOR THE WALL!”

For those doubters on Twitter (and you will see some of them below), I highly doubt the plan was ever to have Mexico pay for the wall up front. We would fund the wall and recoup the funding from Mexico. I don’t see what is so hard to understand about that. But it seems to be a financial move many can’t seem to grasp and that is beyond their comprehension.

SIGN PETITION DEMANDING TRUMP BUILD THE WALL 75,000 HAVE SIGNED

I fully support that if Congress just won’t fund the wall, having the military build it through Pentagon funding and then reimbursing them for it. Why? Because it is a national security issue and always has been. That border is a clear and present danger.

Why shouldn’t Trump have Mexico pay through the USMCA? And why all the negativity from people who are obviously poorly informed and just politically biased? They let their hate for the president dictate all their thoughts and actions rather than looking at the mechanics of the move and the benefits from it. I just don’t get these people. They have not even given this a chance and already they are shooting it down. That’s a leftist for you.

Check out the moves on Twitter over this:

Most of these people don’t seem to get that a great deal of the funding for the wall was approved before Trump started all of this. I have never seen so many people so intent on leaving themselves open to attack. What a bunch of foolish, self-involved individuals. Just sad. Build the wall whatever it takes and do it fast before one of our many enemies gets a chance to severely cripple this nation once again.

Three Clinton Foundation Whistleblowers Will Testify This Coming Week, “Explosive” Allegations to Come…

“With regard to the investigation, which doesn’t get a lot of attention, into the Clinton foundation, the DOJ designated John Huber to look into this. They have 6,000 pages of evidence that they’ve gone through. The foundation raised $2.5 billion, and they’re looking into potential improprieties. What’s next on this investigation?” the Fox News host questioned Congressman Meadows.

“Well, I think for the American people, they want to bring some closure, not just a few sound bites, here or there, so we’re going to be having a hearing this week, not only covering over some of those 6,000 pages that you’re talking about, but hearing directly from three whistleblowers that have actually spent the majority of the last two years investigating this,” Meadows answered.

The Gateway Pundit reports:

Some of the allegations they make are quite explosive, Martha and as we just look at the contributions — now everybody’s focused on the contributions for the Clinton Foundation and what has happened just in the last year, but if you look at it, you know, it had a very strong rise, the minute she was selected as Secretary of State — then it dipped down when she was no longer there and then rose again, when she decided to run for president. So there’s all kinds of allegations of you know, pay-to-play and that kind of thing, “Meadows said.

Take a look:

In the three years following Hillary Clinton’s departure from her position in the State Department, the Clinton Foundation donations dropped by 90%.

The Gateway Pundit writes, “Hillary Clinton left the State Department in 2013 and it looks like nobody wants to pay since she can no longer play.”

Currently, the Clinton Foundation is being put under investigation by the Justice Department and the FBI for a whole plethora of reasons.

The Hill reports that the Clinton Foundation is also being investigated by the IRS in order to find out whether or not any “tax-exempt assets were converted for personal or political use.”

Numerous Clinton emails backing up the idea that the Clinton Foundation was involved in “pay-to-play” schemes during Clinton’s time serving as the head of the Department of State have been found by Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch.
